It was all about accepting more visitors in from the west and allowing more western culture to intergrate in a strict muslim country. It is obvious to see that SA is slowly becoming more open like UAE, to invite more people into visit and have events. It is great to see.

My thoughts and prayers to Lars My Dad passed away on 30th on November this year on the age of 60! I see my boys in their prime in their 60s and it is sad to see that some people die this young, but that is life, it is what it is... Keep on rocking my favorite band ! \m/

There's not many places Metallica haven't played, so it's always awesome to see them playing where they've never set foot. Really, really cool to see they gave the Saudi metal heads a ride what with all the turmoil that's going on over there in the middle-east within driving distance. That's a snazzy golden bass Rob's got too. Never seen that one before.

As a huge fan of Metallica for over 20 years. This is amazing to see them play in the middle east in Saudia Arabia. The middle east is opening more up and I love it.

Metallica is as awesome as ever. Most members are 60+, but they still kick major ass. I've been a fan since 1986. And I'm only 48! I grew up with classic rock and Metallica (my brother turned me on to them. Loved them ever since).

Lars said in an interview 2 or 3 months ago that the 72S tour might keep on going by late 2024 and 2025. He spoke specifically about South America and Oceania but who knows where they could end up playing. After all, no one saw this late 2023 Saudi Arabia show coming, so Metallica playing in north Africa could also be a huge surprise, but definitively some legendary shows to witness. Just imagine Metallica playing "Mercyful Fate" (and more specifically the Curse of the Pharaoh part) just underneath the Sphinx! WHOA!!!!

Wow this has blown my mind.. I saw Metallica play in Abu Dhabi which was an amazing gig.. I’ve never heard so many en core .. love Abu Dhabi for that.. Metallica are Awsome .. to see this in Riyad has blown me away.. fair play to Saudi.. I'm so happy that I got to be a part of this historical day in Saudi Arabia and I will forever remember how it felt, seeing them there live for the first time ever.
