She is still truly amazing!!! Her EP was really good, then came the first full album...with some songs from the EP, fine tuned in the lab!!! Great talent!!!

Lars gets a lot of hate, but he is a seriously underrated composer. His drumming isn't over the top technically, but he has an awesome ear for complimenting the guitar play of Hetfield and Hammett. Videos like this really make that apparent.

While Lars even admits he is not the best drummer in the world, the man has contributed an amazing number of beats and songs. Listen to "And Justice for All". That album is a lesson in metal drumming. If you can faithfully emulate half of what is there, I'll give you huge video props on KZread, facebook and everywhere else. Since most trolls don't back u their expertise with ANY video, we know where their comments come from: their ass. I love Meytal and have watched her play a bunch of originals and covers. She is quite talented. I will agree with those who fault the use of the "piccolo" tuned snare for this cover...the sound is just wrong...maybe better for a RHCP cover.

Yeah the snare is waaay too tight on this. It gives it a garage rock feel where it's hard to feel rest of drums over that loud 'pop' of snare.

Joshua Roberts Hey bro you know its easy to criticize from afar. Tell you what, why dont you post one of these drum videos lets hear you play some doublebass as well as she does. At keast give her credit for her solid drum talent. Im a professional drummer. I play for a working band as well as a couple of recording studios locally. I know how it is , everyone's. a critic. A lot of drummers loke that dark , dry pop of that ratcheted up snare. Hell, Lars , Stewart Copeland,, Larry Mullins. etc. She's a solid drummer., better than most of the drummers Ive seen putting out these vids. Another good drummer is AstroTama. Come on man, shes pretty fuckin talented. Drumming is not something that everyone can do, especially at the professional level. I play at that level & I see rank amateurs come &go. Hi Meytall. I...think...you should name your cymbals. They do their job for you. They ask nothing of you. They crash, whenever you demand it. You hit them really hard. Sometimes you choke them. Send some love to the cymbals. They do so much for you. Food for thought 🤔 . And.. Really nice cover! You have great taste in music. Love it❤❤!

Great cover, almost flawless. I found it weird how she did not use the floor tom at 4:58 and how she choked the cymbal at 7:17. Also, I think that her snare sounds way too cranked but tuning is just a matter of personal taste and the kick drum is very quiet compared to the rest of the drum kit.

I like that you smile and rock. More people should be like that. Music is supposed to be about emotion, and if you enjoy playing, then smile! If you enjoy playing but don't wanna smile, then don't smile. Just don't yell at people for smiling (this is directed towards some of the people in the comments...) Also, I like the snare sound. Not the best sound, but I like it. Everyone else who doesn't like it, well that's your opinion.

Yeah usually you convey the motion of the song. This song is about a person or people trapped in a bad addiction or other calamity they can't see their way out of. Not the most happy emotion. Lol

That's a DW Black Ti snare, it kicks ass, it's very loud, the mic should have been turned down for it.

Now THIS... is a challenge. Takes endurance to do a song like Master of Puppets... it's so heavy and fast I thought even the SF symphony struggled with it in the S&M album in my opinion. Still, great song!
