Our Gov did not invade Ukraine a Freed nation from the Soviet Union. This concert would never happen BY METALLICA NOW. By their choice also. Just remember that Russia is aligning more with China. Does that say anything? The Bible Prophecy I learned long ago.... of the Eastern powers coming upon Israel from the North and East is aligning for the final battle. There is to be a final period of a fake peace... then the final battles. Clearly, all I learned as a young adult in bible studies ARE FALLING INTO PLACE. Just cause racially they are more our preference. Does not mean their leaders and elite have righteous values in reality.... again, they have aligned with China and they need Russia's oil and China wants to sell to them. RUSSIA TRADED also TECH With them for their war aims. Does that bode well with you?

I remember the look on your face when you watched the clip of Metallica playing at the Tushino Airfield in Moscow during the fall of the Soviet Union in front of 1.6 million people. You gasped when you saw the helicopter flying dangerously low over a liberated Russian crowd. At 1.6 million attendees in 1991, Russia still holds the distinction of having the world's largest crowd at a heavy metal concert.

I was at a Metallica concert in 2011, they performed 2 days in a row in Moscow. It was the best thing I've seen and heard, the legendary band and the music 🎧🤘

One of my favorite modes in music is the Russian Born ‘Prometheus’ scale. It is out of this world! There are hidden gems in that scale, but you have to be very very creative to make any noise with it. If anyone appreciates Russian style, I love it very much. I wouldn’t say Russian music is way behind, it’s just not western style. The melody is different, the feel is very very personal from what I’ve noticed. It’s almost like the music there isn’t for the radio, it’s for the individual composer, and people appreciate the individual composer for sharing their soul. Just my take on Russian music.

When you mentioned the parents and kids thing, I chuckled a bit because I seen Metallica in 1991 here in Minneapolis Minnesota, and a few years back, I took my kid, who is now the same age I was, to see Metallica here in Minneapolis. A full circle moment. 🤘😁🤘

Saw Metallica 5 times, the first time was when they opened for Guns & Roses back in the early 90's. Metallica blew G&R out of the water. My favorite is Seek and Destroy.

And they tour pretty much constantly

I feel the exact opposite of how Russian's get excited for American metal bands. I'm American, and I only get excited for Russian metal bands. I just think they do it the best, and metal music is synonymous with Russian people (to me). Слот is my favorite band of all time, and I don't even understand Russian very well, but I've been listening to them since 2006 and still listen to their new stuff now. One thing that James Hetfield is 100% right about, we all speak the same language when it comes to music. I may not understand Russian as well as I'd like to, but I'm fluent in metal 🤘💀🤘

As for better, there's System of a Down, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth, Dream Theater, Rammstein, Korn, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Mastodon, Queensrÿche, Behemoth, etc. Sure, there Metallica may be more well known, or popular, but that's partially because of them becoming a Pop, rather than Metal, band.

A funny note of trivia, the band Metallica was asked if their kids listen to their music . . . they all said No.

I'm a fan of rock but not huge fan of Metalica. Though I recognize their talent.

I'm not a Metallica fan myself, but there's no arguing taste. Apparently the rules about pausing music videos don't apply equally to everyone. I know of a person who never does. How they get away with it, I don't know. The latest one was almost 9 minutes long!

They might not be monetizing the videos. I know someone who does it that way, because too many subscribers got mad when she paused it. I make sure to regularly call out those subscribers as the reason she can't monetize those videos
