Metallica - Live in Moscow (1991) [2021 ReMixed & ReMastered w/ NEW Audio]

Музыка

Band name: Metallica
Date: September 28, 1991
Venue: Tushino Air Field
Location: Moscow, Russia
Tour name: Monsters of Rock
Other acts: AC/DC, The Black Crowes, Pantera, E.S.T.
Notes:
New audio taken from the black album remastered deluxe box set.
Videos taken from three different sources; the "For Those About To Rock" release, "A Year And A Half In The Life Of Metallica", and a bootleg pro-shot source. (Plus the additional MTV news report.)
My original upload attempt had AC/DC's Hell Bells as background audio during the intro and of course The Ecstasy of Gold before Metallica hits the stage but both those tracks were not only copyright claimed but got the entire video blocked...:( so instead enjoy some random audience noise during those parts.
Enjoy!
Setlist:
0:00:00 - Intro (copyright blocked audio; audience noise instead)
0:02:45 - The Ecstasy of Gold (copyright blocked audio; audience noise instead)
0:03:43 - Enter Sandman
0:09:06 - Creeping Death
0:16:56 - Harvester Of Sorrow
0:23:14 - Fade To Black
0:31:00 - Sad But True

0:48:58 - For Whom The Bell Tolls
0:54:47 - One
1:03:04 - Whiplash

You guys don’t remember that the Soviet Union didn’t allow Rock or Metal concerts like this with western bands until they were about to break apart like they did during this time. There was like so much pent up energy from this Russian crowd, that’s why it was so fucking amazing!

Until he left, he was "the new guy." He wasn't the "Jason Newsted" we see him as today, he was just "not Cliff." When he left, I think people started to notice what exactly he brought to the band and began to notice just how much they would miss it. Not to say Rob's bad, he's a killer bassist and his voice is just getting better and better, but he's still no Jason.

the thing is that he became lame and sloppy during the mid-late 2000s and early 10s, i think he improved a lot since 2016 when they were making the hardwired album but obviously will never reach that level from the late 80s and the whole 90s, he was a hell of a energetic drummer during that time
