Fantastic playing; captured everything with those lighting fingers! Truly shows how many sharps/flats and key signature changes are in the song. Well done! 👍
OMG she even plays the pitch bends in the guitar solo, two tones at once. Nice!

Most of the great Metal Songs out there are heavily influenced by Classical music. In fact, taking all of the studio processing and other electronic modifications out of those Metal Songs, and putting them onto a piano lets us know that Metal is not far at all from the Classical Music from hundreds of years ago. In fact, I do argue that Metal Music of a high quality is our Modern Classical Music. Not to be confused with Neo-Classical Music. So, it's not hard for me to see this master piece put to a piano. However, her performance reminds us not only of the skill these musicians have, but the fact that they really do know their stuff, and aren't just playing the same 3 chords.

I'm a US Army veteran (was in Germany when the wall fell) and combat veteran from the Gulf War. We listened to Metallica all the time after the war. I'm not into heavy metal, but the Fade to Black album spoke to me. I took many years of piano lessons. You've brought it all together for me. The band and songs are truly musical master pieces. I can't help but cry to hear your playing of their songs. It brings so many pieces of my life together. Thank you for touching me so profoundly. It is magical.

It is exactly a literal transcription of Metallica on the piano. But how difficult it is to do that and to sound authentic. Congratulations from the heart.

With this song, definitely know your left hand or the "coordination issue" part lol The more you play it, you'll catch on and won't even know your left hand is there, you shouldn't have to think or anticipate left hand in order to play the song. it's basically like playing on autopilot, the more you play it the more it becomes natural.

the genius is in the arrangement, i.e. her 'version' of the song, as you say representing all the parts played by multiple instruments. The playing is good too

that little addition at the end, repeating the intro but in a higher register...pure goosebumps
To be honest, it was actually more beautiful than I expected. The vocal melodies sound beautifully expressive compared to the original version sung by James, which was one of his first attempts at actually singing and sounded a little awkward. The riffs, translated to piano, add to the emotional dramatism of the song and also sound great. Congratulations, really impressed me beyond just translating a song to piano.

The back story of this song, i relate to on a personal level. My life was always parallel to harsh guitars, aggressive structures, raging energy trying to explain sorrow. The poetical nature of this being played on a grand piano by a beautiful woman draws a good parallel that brings me to tears. I've felt this music for so very long, with this rendition, i feel the music once again in a different light.
