Girls generation did have two native English speakers (one member is from LA, another is from San Francisco) but you barely hear the LA one on this track (mostly hear her doing a few adlibs early on) and the other didn’t really show up until after your initial comments (she’s the one with the distinct, nasal sound). Glad that you picked up on the distinctly 90s/2000s sound. The song was actually produced by Teddy Riley, who worked extensively with acts like Michael Jackson during that era.

You guys definitely should listen to Girls' Generation new songs called "You Better Run" and "Villain", and also the title track "Forever 1" (even though it might not your cup of tea) but so damn good!!! Live rock versions of sorry sorry are superior but it's nice to look back on the OG every once in awhile. Lol As others have said, other suju songs would go with the metal head vibe more. Please don't be afraid to check them out. They are a lot less repetitive and have better visuals.
