I'm so glad you reacted to this song, I'm actually in the middle of writing an opinion piece on the music video right now. 2NE1 were truly revolutionary in K-Pop. They weren't considered "visuals", they were all about the talent, and they started off with songs that were really relatable. They were able to be angry (Hate You), they were allowed to be insecure (Ugly), they were allowed to experiment with fashion in a bold way, until it built up to "I Am The Best" where they claimed their identity and strength. They worked from the ground up with their music and their identity, regardless of if its manufactured or not. I miss them.

2NE1 is my first k pop experience... They'll always be special... Memories of my high school days.. You guys need to see their live performances... Thank you for liking them.. Thank you... They debuted with their song 'Fire' on May 6, 2009. They were then recognized as the "Queens Of Kpop" for pretty much most of their career and have been an outstanding group who have become legends due to their talent. on November 25, 2016 they officially disbanded but then decided to make a final 'Goodbye' song that was released with just 3 members and honestly they re still the queens of Kpop not even a single groupe can have such a presence and aura in their concerts u should check them up Ps: great work guys I’ve been a fan since day one much love and support

Aw man this is great. They were the ultimate Queens. They recently disbanded but they were originally under the same label as BlackPink and BigBang, YG Entertainment. They were my first introduction into Kpop and they will always being amazing. You should check out their other MVs for ‘I Am The Best’ and their farewell song they release before disbanding after Minzy (with the red hair) signed to another label, ‘Goodbye’. The song was for her. CL (the blonde) has made quite an impact on the US and Korea with her solo work, she even did a collab with Method Man on her US debut, ‘Lifted’. Her and BigBang’s leader GDragon are often referred to as the King and Queen of Kpop. You guys would love GDragon.

2NE1 is the kpop group that had me really hooked to kpop. It's just sad that they already disbanded but hopefully you could react to more of their songs. I would recommend "I Am the Best" and "Can't Nobody" you could also try "Fire" which is the one that introduced me to 2NE1.

I'm glad you like 2NE1, its too bad they don't still make music together but everything they put out together is gold, even their solo stuff is so you guys should check that out too. Anyways, two groups I recommend are N.Flying and Ft.Island and a solo album I recommend is Agust D, I hope you listen and like them

The interesting and unexpected blending and switching of genres is something that I like a lot about kpop. They're also not afraid to use influences and sounds from past decades in their current music, so it feels like there's less limitations.

I like you guys but now i love you for reacting to 2ne1 and saying you love it made my day. They disbanded more than a year ago. This video has been around 2014 i think, its quite old compared to the videos you've been reacting to. So big hugs, this has been a treat for me.

glad you guys like it! 2ne1 invented badass/girl crush concept in kpop. They are basely a hiphop group but they also have a few songs in mix of rock®gae genre. Here's some recommend for reaction. I knew you’d like them! They are my ultimate bias! Their concerts are unforgettable. I went to one and it was epic. I’m still sad over their disbandment, but know you like them makes me happy. ^^

groups come back with many many diffrent styles and sounds but they try to stay true to their brand. their "home' sound. expect surprises and song you may not like.

2NE1 (pronounced 21 or 'To Anyone') was my first bias group only to be succeeded by Blackpink. it's unusual but sometimes you get MV's where the audio isn't the same as the album cut eg: BTS - Blood Sweat & Tears during the statue kissing scene isn't part of the album cut. With this song there are two versions on the album - a radio edit and an acoustic version - in this video I think the bit where CL raps is actually from the acoustic version (not sure it's been 4 years)

2ne1 is an iconic K-pop group...they have been around since 2009, sadly they have disbanded...they are actively pursuing a solo career tho, Dara is busy with variety shows, Minzy had her single out, Park bom the voice you liked (she happens to be known to have one of the most unique voices in k-pop) is about to make a comeback & CL perhaps has the most impressive solo career, she has been promoting in the US & has worked with Diplo, skrillex, will. I. am, riff raff etc etc etc....I'm glad you enjoyed them.. Comeback home is one of the frequent songs that I use to introduce k-pop to people, and everyone seems to be fond of them instantly....they certainly have many hits, although many of their older songs tend to be trendy, auto-tuned & pop/club like...and you will come across some outdated music videos, but are still regarded a k-pop classic...if you want to listen to songs that are more edgier, vocal focused....i recommend 2NE1 - MISSING YOU, 2NE1 - LONELY, 2NE1 - GOTTA BE YOU, 2NE1 - IF I WERE YOU....But for me Comeback home is the best song they ever released

oh and if you are interested in the whole musical shifting element I highly recommend EXO - KOKOBOP BLACKPINK - WHISTLE BIGBANG - BANG BANG BANG 4MINUTE - HATE SNSD - I GOT A BOY (might be too bubble-gum pop, but its relevant) MOMOLAND - BBOM BBOM (has a few, but is quite the bop) NCT U - 7TH SENSE (has a subtle shift, but this song is worth checking)

i’m really happy that you reacted to my favorite group ever. they were just so unique and had definitely more potential to make it even bigger if their company YG did not disband them, but besides that, they are the absolute gems of kpop in my opinion because they went all the way against the kpop standard and showed us that we as people can be vulnerable, pretty, badass bitches, etc. i hope you get to listen to their other songs because there’s honestly no other group that has made me feel what they made me feel through their music and their journey. nowadays everyone is like kinda the same and following the trend (which i don’t mind) but 2ne1 was so unique that they should’ve been given more time to make music as a group.

2NE1 is the big sister group to BlackPink, blond hair is CL, black hair is Bom, red hair is Minzy and blue hair is Dara, they have a lot of songs that are really great, I miss these girls so much, though Minzy is a solo artist now, Dara is focused on modeling and travelling it seems, Bom is returning soon hopefully, and CL is trying her best to come back, they were a force to be reckoned with when they were together, but there was a scandal that shouldn't have been a scandal, and one of the group was blamed for it, if you want to find out more of course I could tell you or you could research it. I see you have also reacted to Big Bang - Bang Bang Bang, the one whose voice you were surprised by was Kwon Jiyong mainly known by his stage name G Dragon or GD, he is the one that sang/said Banga banga banga. If you want to see a song that both Big Bang and 2NE1 are in together, it is called Lollipop and it was a promotional song for a phone brand, though I think of course you should look at 2NE1's songs I Am The Best and their debut song Fire, amongst other songs in their discography, along with Big Bang's Monster and Haru Haru. You guys should totally react to Seventeen. They're a very talented group that writes, produces, and choreographs their own songs for the most part. I'd recommend their song CLAP as it has some rock influences. They're dancing is also on the level as EXO's and they have insane vocals.

2NE1 - I Am The Best These girls came before BlackPink. They are what introduced me into the world of KPOP. They are awesome!!! Unfortunately they disbanded but left us with an abundance of wonderful and amazing music!

I miss 2NE1. Didn't realize how much I missed them until this came up on my feed. Disbanding left a big hole in the kpop world, there really isn't another group like them.

2ne1 is an amazing group that suffered a lot because of the Korean culture and their company. Being called an ugly group because they didn’t fit the k-pop standard of girl groups and their company constantly pushed them aside and turned their backs on them when there was a “scandal” when one of the member’s depression and anxiety prescription was discovered by officials because she had her family send it to her because she couldn’t get it in Korea. She was labeled a drug addict and the company turned their back on them.
