The video is just a visualizer. They don’t do many actual videos.

The visualizers aren’t just purely visualizers though. They do tell some of the story if you pay close enough attention to the lyrics.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you go through the Take Me Back To Eden album in order, from Chokehold to Euclid, because while the songs are all good, the order they are within the album, tells a story, and it makes the experience that much better. You guys started with the second song so it’s too late to change that, but go back to Chokehold for the next reaction video, and then skip ahead to the 3rd song Granite and watch the rest in order: Aqua Regia, Vore, Ascensionism, Are You Really Ok?, The Apparition, DYWTYLM, Rain, Take Me Back To Eden and lastly Euclid. This is the first album that I’ve bought and listened to the whole way through in years. Not one song is a skippable song. Most albums have 1 or 2, maybe 3 good songs and the rest are fillers. Not with this album. Every song is a banger, unique, well crafted, and beautiful in their own right. At least 4 of the songs should be in contention for Song of the Year, and the Album should be not only Metal Album of the Year, but overall Album of the Year. No other album has impacted any particular genre or music in general as much as the Take Me Back To Eden album has in 2023. Also, if you listen to the album in order, there are a whole bunch of nice little Easter eggs from earlier songs to find in the later songs. Listen carefully to the lyrics, there are tons of connections to make. Vessel’s writing is superbly masterful. Also, there is mandatory crying required for a 3 song minimum, but feel free to cry for more songs, as most of us have. Are You Really Ok?, DYWTYLM, and Euclid are the biggest tear jerkers.

If we as a fan base and audience may suggest, you must go through the entire album of Take Me Back To Eden. You won't find a single song that you dislike.

They're next level, like actually really next level as in nobody's doing quite what they do. There's another band though that just released a song that's absolutely solid. October Ends - Damaged. Would love to see your reaction on this one.

I'm not a metal song fan but now i have become an obsessed fan girl , let me tell you sleep token is very versatile and incorporates all kinds of styles in their music, i'm lucky i got suggested the less heavier songs first. Here's my top picks 1) Take me back to Eden 2) Aqua Regia 3) The apparition 4) Rain 5) Granite

Think of the figure in the video as a spirit out of a grimiore. Every aspect of the figure is symbolic for something in the song. It's like this for every song that they released a video for off this album that's at least how I interpret it I say this because this band has a lot of ritualistic elements to them

This sleep token album was great, I put the whole thing on my playlist. Another band to check out is Periphery, I would suggest starting with Atropos, Garden and the Bones or Marigold. There are so many great ones though, my favorite band personally.

@@Hoganply And Hardcore is derived from Punk and Punk from Rock and Techno from Disco and House from Techno on and on and on. Each one of those distinctive genres has its' own parameters that distinguish them from the sum of their sources. That's why someone who listens to Rick James or James Brown recognizes it IMMEDIATELY as Funk and doesn't confuse it with Charlie Parker, Dave Brubeck or Miles Davis. The combined elements that make Jazz, Jazz, do not appear during this songs' refrain. But the elements that make Funk, Funk, do. Nice try though.
