I saw this as it was happening on the live show. You paused at this moment so you didn't experience it...but when he stopped singing there was complete silence for at least 4 seconds. The audience was spellbound and in a daze. Took them a moment to remember where they were. That, to me, spoke volumes about that performance. I remember thinking that was the best thing I've ever heard. It was mind blowing. Brian seems to be a nice young man. I wish him a long career in the music industry. Great reaction as usual! Thanks! The place where you paused, you missed how long the silence was before the audience started clapping. They were in awe.

I'm pretty sure that was added artificially to the recording for dramatic effect.

Very proud mom, who has always supported him when he felt like he had nobody else. This is hands down my favorite version of this song! The little run when he says feather is perfect, his voice floats on that, such power.❤ Thank you John, don’t forget about Forestella please 😊.

Another great Creep cover is from the Korean group Hoppipolla. They were founded during the tv show Superband. I highly recommend it!

The contrast between the soft, airy-ness way he started and the ridiculous belting just draws us in even more.

He really should have won that season. He had a super powerful voice and so much control over his voice. Every single performance was memorable.

AGT fan here. I remember watching this episode. I thought, ' "Creep", ugh.' It's arguably an overdone song on competition shows. He gave me goosebumps, then goosebumps on top of those goosebumps. It was an absolutely spectacular and mesmerizing performance. It's one of those AGT performances never forgotten over the years.

Yes, not a sound from a usually vocal crowd for 4 seconds at the end. Brilliant person/performance. Sorry if I tick anyone off, but that he lost to a cute but squeaky young girl was a shock and major disappointment. I watched that series and he was THE best of all. Public voted 'cute', not 'talent'.
