It's basically black metal but slower, with a gloomy atmosphere, screams simulating pain and lyrics about depression, suicide, self harm and etc etc. And the part that we the fans of the genre never felt the touch of a woman is actually very true XD

@@pattohorne This sentence hurts me on a level I did not expect. I don't like to call people not in the "scene" dumb but.. Calling HH death metal is like calling a kitten a Panther.. Sure they're in the same ball park I guess but you'd have to be a bit purposely unaware to think they're the same thing. Again, I hate being _that_ guy but do people not know basic music genres? At least in 2022 with Lorna Shore breaking into mainstream status, people should know the difference between rock, hard rock, metal(core) and death metal/core by now.
