My love for Press Tools and engineering hasn't died after watching this film. I still love watching stuff like this. I made and worked on Three Prog Tools, that made the metal plug socket backing box, there was a double, a single, and a Plaster box, you've see the sort of thing, they are recessed into the wall behind the socket face. One came off the tool every seven blows. It was my baby at the time. Great video. :)

I worked for a contract Toolroom, so once the tooling had been tested and bought off, as a rule, we never saw those tools again, unless there was either a problem or it needed a re-grind after producing many thousands of components. These particular tools tended to come back to me and or the company I worked for, simply because we had made them and therefore knew them inside out, literally. I miss working on those tools. Thanks.

I design the tools. The toolmakers that build the tools always keep an eye out on the tools they've built while they're in production. You're right, the tools are looked after by their tool makers! Thanks for watching!!
