Metal Sonic guitar jam (from Sonic Generations) aka Stardust Speedway Bad Future JP!
Музыка
One of my favorite tunes from one of the best 3D Sonic games. It's really just a bunch of noodling over a really cool track. It's Metal Sonic, so metal playing seemed appropriate.
Here's the sequel jam, Flying Battery Zone!

If you like the backing groove, here's the original from Sonic Generations without my dumb guitar:

I now have another version with much better tones but ah well, this one will live here forever.

I started watching this, and I was thinking "Ok, this is good, definitely skillful" Then I got to 0:37 and Jesus Christ, that's so damn good!

Ha, thanks. This was so long ago that I had to double check what I even did there.
Underrated, man this really deserves more. This is awersome specially the synchronized sections and the ones that follow!

Thanks, I want to rerecord it but this old one seems to get consistent views. So why mess with a good thing, lol.

lol, thanks, it's always been a really fun one.
Are there any words to describe this peak fiction? This talent?
Love the added guitar bits over the main melodies. Makes this great song sound somehow even greater!

Awesome, thanks, I always try to keep the main melodies with some of my own stuff to mix it up.
Stardust Speedway: You can add an infinite amount of instruments and it will ALWAYS make it better
This is amazing! I wish that there was a version where your guitar was mixed in louder! It's so good!

Ha, thanks, I think I was a little more shy at the time. I do have a newer mix with better tones but this video gets views so too late to change it here, lol.
This is so enjoyable to listen to!

Thanks, it was always so fun to play. Wasn't sure if it was actually listenable for someone else, lol.
DAMN THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME DOES A LITTLE DANCE
GOD THIS IS AN EXCELLENT REMIX.
This is a banger.
There should be more remixs of the jp ost with a guitar, it gives it a us ost feel but still keeps the old ost it just needs some more ambient electric guitars

It'd be interesting to hear. I always preferred the U.S. OST, and growing up with it played a part in picking up the guitar in the first place.

@@ChrisLT When I was younger I played the 2011 version (and I think the original as I used to own a Sega CD) and couldn't really play further than quartz quadrant due to the long pinball fight and horrifying boss theme, so once I picked up the game later on mobile I always stuck to the JP ost but something about the US one I think is really good, the US BF Stardust Speedway is good and so is all of US Metalic Madness but it just had some issues with it being a bit more forgettable, so that's the reason I wish someone would do a more ambient and electric guitar remix of the JP ost that resembles the US one more, it just seems so interesting and electric guitar+purcusion is what the JP ost lacked in imo.

@@zebitus5731 There's an episode of VGMpire that does a side by side of the Sonic CD soundtracks with Spencer Nilsen (the US composer). It gave me an appreciation of both approaches, worth giving it a listen!
