No hermano eso es perder el tiempo tanto viendo el vídeo como haciendolo. Para un pesado de ceguera y ya un clavo. Un electrodo con punta total ay tantas cosas para hacer una simple raya

You had no reason to drill the vise, it would hold hex head just as well, and probably better. Just saying...

I intentionally drill the vise not only for that particular bolt but for other rods in the future as well. Thanks for your comment...

you can't drill the bolt all the way through straight enough by just clamping the hex, you'll need to hold or grip the rod to prevent from skewing...

@@project21diy I did not realize that it was your intention to add a new feature to your vise. Now with this done, you my also check if you can grip your smaller chuck in the vise, which can be quite useful in many different situations. For example, you can align both chucks by gripping something in both and fix the vise to the table, so you can grip the object in one chuck and the tool in the other and drill without having to find and mark the center. Less work and certainly more accurate, especially ifyou need more than one piece. In this particular case, you could grip the bolt in the bigger chuck and the drill bit in the smaller one. Again, just saying;) I have two vises roughly the size of yours, and they both have V grooves, horizontal and vertical, but I still often use this two chuck setup, especially with small diameter objects, where eyeballing the center and marking it just isn't accurate enough...

@@johnsmith-000 yes sir, 2 chucks is a better idea and is easier with 1 clamped on vise or another DIY tools that may hold the chuck very well and center... thanks for your inputs
