I definitely got a "if TOOL was a metalcoreband" kinda vibe, def like it

@@transient442 Assuming it’s the same riff others are referring to, it’s closest to a song released by TooL in 2001 (Schism) on Lateralus. So I would certainly say TooL hasn’t stolen a riff from Erra or likely anyone else. That being said this tune definitely rocks.
Yeah, Jesse is definitely an amazing musician, to play those riffs AND do the clean vocals, the man is insane!
JT actually did most of the cleans in this song. Love the variety he's bringing

Jesse as well singing at a lower octave.

I discovered them a few years ago and I’m mad it took me so long. They are fucking insane.
Erra never disappoints, I like how Jesse sings a couple octaves lower so it's going to be much easier on his voice live. Also I loved the added clean vocals. Like I said Erra never disappoints. 🤘

11 out of 10. This band is next level

Didn’t even know Erra dropped a new track till I saw this reaction video. Thanks for always keeping me up to date, Nik. ❤️
Just so happened to be playing this song when he released this. Song is straight heat
This sounds like it has a part 2 or something. Can't wait for the album!
2:37 I had the same reaction. It’s absolutely goin’
I'm thinking this might actually be my favorite song on this album. It's rock, thrash, hardcore and groovy all at the same time.
Definitively, there is a TOOL vibe. Enjoyed it. Great review my fellow friend!
Thanks for introducing me to ERRA - it's thanksgiving and today . . I DEVOUR THIS
Erra is the best band in the past 20 years. They are apparently from my hometown Birmingham.
I totally got the tool vibe as well! Even before you mentioned it :P

I'm getting huge "jambi" vibes with some of the finger pulling/rolling action in this song. Fucking diabolical
The tool vibe sounds like Tools song Tempest. I know exactly which part too.
Oh gosh, goosebumps! The hell is going on, I LOVE IT!
Ok, Snowblood was an incredible song but this... holy shit I love it! lots of breakdowns, lots of melody, lots of great guitar riffs and lots of drumming and some insane screams, brilliant
I sincerely hope Erra keep going in the direction they're heading, everything they're dropping is just consistently brilliant
Something special awaits us this Spring
one hell of a song, such a banger!
at the end ofthe song...i love that kind of breakdowns
5:34 reminded me of ps1 wipeout the plane racing game where the emblems for the track spin in a 360
This is absurdly good 🔥
This gave me goose bumps on my knees
Erra is turning up this year!
I was literally typing that this is like if tool became a bunch of djonty bois as nik goes "has like a tool vibe?" Lol
Nik: I'm not doing a guitar cover! Also Nik: ERRA | House of Glass | Guitar cover with tabs
These videos of his are how I discover new bands
I just realized the logo on the singles spells ERRA, E on top, R on each side, and A on the bottom.
4:46 The ending was a weird combo of the ending of Wrapped in Violence by Chimara and the intro to Trapped like Rats by Glass Cloud. On the whole, agree with the review. The ending ambience was a personal highlight 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’m also hearing some Himsa vibes. A band I completely forgot about till now.
What a banger 🤘🏻
that Tool remark there....so true...those riffs reminded me of riffs from vicarious
Yes!!
Not only was that a tool vibe, but that was the exact riff from Schism!!! It was just sped up!
