Everything you said applies to me too. I basically grew up with MGS and Snake. Sad but true fact, I learnt more life lessons from Snake than I did my own dad. These days I still play through the entire seriess at least once a year and everytime I do I get reminded of just how ahead of its time the series is.

Ah man, anything related to MGS is always a win win. One of the greatest games created and still a large loyal fanbase to it. If it continued with its progress it could have took over Marvels success since Marvel is slowly sinking with these new films coming out.

@@GatekeeperofOldIt’s not even possible for them to course correct anymore because that would mean acknowledging their mistakes and taking responsibility for their repeated failures. That’s why they’re just saying “f**k it” and doubling down with the rainbow shenanigans. Their business culture is one where misplaced ideology is front and centre. That sounds cute and fuzzy on the surface but the people they’re hiring lack the basics to create good movies. It’s affirmative action for movies. It’s almost as though they want them to fail 😂. Marvel, in the future, might have the occasional rare success similar to how even a broken clock is right twice a day, but they’re bleeding cash right now and they know it. Edit: If Disney actually cared about giving jobs to ethnic minorities or women then they’d bankroll more independent movies with talented people at the helm, instead of pressuring them to take on these enormous projects that they’re not ready for, that they aren’t passionate about, and that they haven’t earned.
