J.King was so hard on himself. I struggle with the exact same thing he had. It's hard to stay positive with pressure like that. Luckily he didn't give up and pushed through. I watched it live, the support was real.

Jag is always too hard on himself and it makes me sad when there's an issue he has that he can't control, like when the audio broke when he was doing that MGS2 run. It added a good 6 or 7 minutes to his time between Olga and the hallway battle. He's my favorite MGS runner because of his humor, his commentary, and how he explains in depth what exploit he's doing. If I was going purely off of skill, though, MGSlade would be my fave. He's a human TAS.

+HellOWorld oh it's about being perfect and being the fastest. BubbleDelFuego's DS3 run was heavily criticized for being a risky run that relied on the game not crashing and ended up having the game crashed in the run. Some forgave but it was bad in the chat. GDQ is never a safe space. Community like speed-running, people with personality issues always dwell in.

Man I can only imagine what kind of pressure these runs are like, Not only with a toxic crowd, but even the entire speedrunning population and crowd. I was on it live too.

I did too. She is my favorite video game character. Big Boss was it but the events of The Phantom Pain lowered my respect for him a bit. I hear by declare him Deadbeat Boss!

What a good run, despite a few mistakes Jaguar showed a lot of skills, also that performance at the end was so powerful, I love it

I was just watching DSP play through this, it's like one extreme to another coming to this video afterwards. Great run as always.

I don't think I've ever liked a GDQ runner more than this guy. I don't care that he fudged up, he just seems like such a genuinely nice guy.

Chat made this run, so many cry faces and support when he said he doesn't deserve to be there, and the whole chat sing typing along to snake eater at the end was brilliant. Best run of the event for me.

Two things: 1 - This speedrun get me on the speedrun world as a espectator, the mistakes and how he resolve his way out just made this speedrun amazing. 2 - by the way mgs3 get me on mgs games. I REALY want to play this amazing game again. I would love a good port on pc

Loved this run despite all the setbacks. Huge respect and praise for Jaguar King for overcoming all the mistakes especially on the highest difficulty in the game. Hope to see him at GDQ again. And Jaguar King, please continue being an awesome speedrunner regardless of all the mishaps.

Notice how jaguar king almost always says we instead of I, unless he's refering to himself out of game. Just something little that makes you feel more involved.

Her voice....I literally had chills, outstanding run and amazing commentary throughout, AGDQ producing the goods yet again

This is the greatest GDQ run of all time. It's great because its not perfect, it has real tension as the clock ticks down on a playthrough where almost everything goes wrong, its not like normal speed streaming where they just reset, they have to live with their mistakes and improvise, it's exciting!

Molotov had a better run, although he wasn't as good at the boss fights.

This is a great example to show how much efforts and love all the speedrunners devote on all those amazing games! It is a very good run! And wonderful singing!

You are not a bad speedrunner jaguar! You are one of the most amazing speed runners, I have seen! Don't be so hard on yourself! And keep doing what you are doing!

A game, or more like game series which has a special place in my heart. A worthy and entertaining run with great runner and commentary.

You speedrunners are awesome. Thumbs up for Jaguar King. You did really great.

Probably my favorite MGS game. Well done, The Boss would be proud.

I love watching speedruns, you come across some really cool personalities. Jaguar seems like a really cool, humble guy. Loved this run!

At first I thought she was doing an a capella version of Snake Eater because I couldn't hear the music, it made it beautifully haunting. Gave me goose bumps.

i remember the first time i played this game i was 13-14 yo and i didn´t care much for the story of the game, so i wasnt paying much atention to anything, but when i was going up those stairs i hear this amazing music and i thought "g if the put so much effort in this great sound track i must be missing something else great"... so i started over again and MGS3 has become my 3rd favorite game of all time (doesnt sound like much but ive been gaming for over 15 years and 300+ games)

I started crying a bit too, but for me, it was more just getting lost in the moment. It felt kinda like she was singing it at a stadium, so I felt like I had to close my eyes and put my hand on my heart as I quietly sang along. In fact, I'm not afraid to admit I'm genuinely trying not to cry more even as I write this because the moment was just that amazing.

Wow... Sumichu singing Snake Eater gave me chills.

I see Metal Gear on it, I click like.

I feel for this guy! he felt really bad when the run went wrong but the run was entertaining as hell! 10/10 for the runner!

Im going to play this on normal difficulty when it comes in, these games are tough. Watching these made me want to play the metalgears i havent experienced before.

Whenever I see this I feel... a thrill.

I'm so glad i bought the hd collection. I have so fond memoried of playing both 2 and 3 as a kid.

I just finished European extreme (0 alerts with resets) in 6 hours in game time and about 60 hours real time xd Respect to all guys who speedrun this game on E-E difficulty.

It was honestly cooler that he was 1 hit away from finishing the End but had to improvise the killing blow than if it all went according to plan. This was an awesome underdog run, total uphill battle with as many clutch recoveries as there were mistakes

it's easy to control if you are not a spazz on the controller honestly. I don't make very many mistakes on MGS3. Check out any of my Area strategies for MGS3 Speedrunning, it's really not that hard in most areas. Be it caution or not, I can handle almost every area of the game in any state.

The way the boss reacted when you revived yourself, holy sh"t thats some good A.I

The End boss was probably the most entertaining part of this run.

It was really awesome to see a mgs3EE run it was so much cooler than my attempt at no kills it felt bad though hearing Jaguar King being down on himself
