Metal Gear Solid 3 - Sigint on Racism, War and the Digital Age!

Ойындар

An interesting conversation between Snake and Sigint regarding race, technology, war, and the digital age. And how right he was; despite our progress as a collective, racism is still an issue in the 21st century. Kojima always brings up the real issues in the world.

Interesting that sigint mentions human beings being irreplaceable- considering all the talk about AI in MGS2.

Is the Future DARPA Chief here in any other Metal Gear Game besides this one and "Solid"??

He only appears as Sigint in MGS3 and as the DARPA Chief in MGS1. He doesn't appear in any of the other games in the series.

@@IQ-Gameplay Sigint is the DARPA Chief???? I've only played MGS1 - 3, so I don't know if this is some twist reveal later in the series

@@isaywhateveriwantandyougot7421 Yeah, he is indeed! We know this because of the timeline at the end of MGS3, where it says Sigint went on to create DARPA.

A lot of these ideas are reflected in MGSV

I mean Kojima himself had posted a ramen noodle on the front of his table on his Tweet in response to the MGS3 remake reveal trailer Who knows if someone's could decipher what do they even mean, when MGS3 remake could possibly suffer from usual modern gaming sheanigans such as buggy mess that makes No Man's Sky, CP2077, and even The Day Before shudder, missing/borked content that puts GTA Tragedy Devastated Edition to shame, and background NFT scheme is going on

Perhaps its a shift. Against all odds stop looking to the past for the future. Stop looking to the world for individualisn.

It's a possibility that MGS3 Delta Snake Eater falls victim to the same malpractices that are rife within the gaming industry these days. But I'm hoping for better. Kojima's messages have always been a bit cryptic as well, not much new there 😅

It is very likely that the noodles are reference to the ingame noodles. Ramen noodles are supposedly outstanding. So I'd take it as "Outstanding!". Might also be a expression to not change a thing so it stays outstanding but that is hard to say.

@@LennyFace609It does seem like a positive reception by Kojima; I don't think he would have posted the ramen noodles, knowing that it's one of the best foods in the game that HE made, unless he approved at least somewhat.
