Radio Company

Mark Shepherd was a session drummer before he was an actor. The reason for the dual drummers is for the next song - they use two drummers for 'Whipping Post'. You should hear Jensesn singing 'Whipping Post' or 'SOB'.

He has 3 albums with his band Radio Company, and for covers at the cons there are a lot to choose from. Just to name a few Whipping Post, S.O.B., Brother, Sister Christian, Angeles, he did Wanted Dead or Alive with Corey Taylor

Jjensen is a complete artist, he is no longer just an actor, a voice actor, he is also a director and a singer. He has a beautiful voice with an incredible vocal range, he plays guitar and piano. there's nothing he can't do really well. we also know that he also knows how to dance... thanks for the video.

Thank you for the information! I didn't know he played piano which is why he has such a good range. The voice is a gift from heaven though. I think he's an awesome actor, too. Really wish he got to play Batman.

Oh, the year 2015. This year Jensen performed for the fans for the first time. He didn't want to, he always said - I'm not a singer. He was very shy - his friends from SPN convinced him. He performed for the first time with the song Sister Christian. He becomes more confident over time. The fans love and support him. And I too. Thank you for awesome reaction. Funny, I can't imagine Jensen shy 😁. I love that bit he did at the end of an episode with the song Eye of The Tiger. Still makes me laugh! Playing his leg guitar🤣🤣🤣. Yeah, rewatching right now and seeing how young they were when it started- crazy! I'll have to find Sister Christian. Great song. I bet he sounded great. Thank you!❤️

Love Supernatural! Many of the actors and crew members sing or play instruments. Supernatural conventions generally consist of panels, photo ops, and other fun stuff during the day, but several years ago they started doing the "Saturday Night Special", a full-on 2-hour concert with Louden Swain, usually including a rousing version of "Carry On My Wayward Son". Little by little, other con guests started to cameo, joining Louden Swain for a song or two; Mark Sheppard loves drums and seldom gets to perform outside of cons; even executive producer Bob Singer breaks out the harmonica sometimes. Eventually Jensen became one of them, and he killed it of course! 😍 And you should SEE Brianna Buckmaster (Sheriff Donna) cut loose! Jared's not as comfortable on the mike, but he does sometimes come out to join the backup singers.😁 Since his first performances at cons, Jensen started the band Radio Company with his buddy Steve Carlson. They've done two albums and a bunch of live shows, very blues-rock.

@BemusingBill the show is over but like with Star Trek, the SPN convention circuit rolls on! I compassionately understand the limitations you two are dealing with but maybe attending an SPN con might be a fun goal for the future. Creation Entertainment sells 1-day passes if you don't have the stamina for a full weekend, and quite a lot of fans attend in wheelchairs owned or rented for the occasion. Lots of us dealing with mobility issues or chronic illnesses - enough that a popular photo op is Misha in his Cas costume, extending a healing touch! I hope you might get to go someday. ❤️

You can't see him in the video, but Gabriel/the trickster is playing bass. You hear him talk with Chuck/Rob at the very beginning.

He has original songs on albums, too. Mark plays hella drums (no pun intended). Try Vegas Con where he and Corey Taylor sing together. I think the only Jensen as Dean singing like Jensen is his scene in S 15 Ep 7 with Christian Kane when they did Good Ole Boys. There are alot of videos if you can get past the crowd screaming. ❣❤‍🔥

@@BemusingBill I love that they get so energized, especially when anyone is singing. But, I have difficulty hearing and the songs become mumbles to me. That’s all I meant by that. He did Simple Man on Jason Manns ‘Covers with Friends’ album, if you listen very close before any notes, you can hear Baby being fired up. He recorded it on set and someone went to move the car as the recording started ❤️‍🔥.

Fun! Yes, it was. And we love that show so much. It's one of the great stories of our time, Nancy and I believe. Rumor has it they might do a limited series on HBO which might cover stories within the 15 seasons🙏🙏🙏

Would love to see you react to something more recent. As others have said, he was incredibly shy early on. He was shy when he started doing conventions and interacting with fans, and it took a couple of years to really gain confidence in that regard. Then when he started singing at these conventions (from what I heard, the first TV show convention to have a band), he started off in the background a bit, really sheepish. At the time of this performance, he was really just started becoming more comfortable. Forming his own band outside of this really helped him. He just gets better and better. The thing about this song, however, is he is incapable of memorizing the lyrics. This song is like his kryptonite, which can be pretty amusing at times.

This was the first time I heard him sing and he was covering my favorite song of all time, “The Weight”. He was so new to performing on stage in this way. Another musician who has been a longtime part of the Supernatural convention-verse is folk-rocker Jason Manns. In 2013 he put out the album "Christmas With Friends" with Xmas songs covered by Jensen, Jared, Misha, and many other actors from the show. Some are fantastic pro quality, some are more like listening to your favorite cousin singing on christmas eve after a healthy dose of eggnog, but it's all pretty fun. Not necessarily reaction material, but something you and Nancy would probably enjoy during this season either way ❤❤

Absolutley! We just watched the Christmas one with the pagan gods torturing them. Their sad little christmas for them and the flashbacks with them growing up. Got me all choked up. Mark Shepard did a birthday video for my daughter-in-law a few years ago. He's awesome!❤️❤️❤️

Mark Sheppard was a drummer in a band before he got into acting. He’s looking at the other drummer and following his lead because he isn’t familiar with the drums for this song. When he gets the hang of it, he stops looking over. These conventions are really fun but stupid expensive. I’ve gone twice but I don’t see myself being g able to do it again.

Great video, Bill. I knew he sang, and is in a band himself. I'm a huge fan of the show as well. Rumors floating around about a season 16 at some point. The boys always said it wasn't good bye, just a see you later after 15 seasons. I watch all the SPN-cons, too. they're very entertaining.

Thank you! Yeah, I've heard those rumors. Possibly on Max. I guess well just have to wait and see!. I watched a few clips from a few SPN-cons and they are hilarious! There was one with Jensen, Jared and Jeffrey Dean and Jensen said, "You know what I really want" and before he could say another word Jared chimed in with, "Straight legs?" which had Jeffrey on the floor laughing. 🤣🤣🤣 Love that show! Love that cast!

Your wife has good taste. ^5 to the Dean girls. My favorite episode from the whole series is Into The Mystic. It's an off the wall choice but the subtleties are so beautiful. coffee...mmmmm..shame it's pushing midnight For are a lil treat.. search Ackle-Berry-Blow. It's their cover of Ed Sheeran's tune.. starts with Robbie... Jensen comes in and does some heavy lifting and then for a special treat Lisa Berry (Billie) joins the party. I don't know anyone that prefers the original. The Supernatural set is legendary in what a welcoming place it was. That's Billy Moran shredding the bridge. In season 15.. 15-07, he finally did get to sing.. good old boys, with his buddy Christian Kane.

Dude, Jared noodles on the Guitar. It would be easier to tell you the number of cast member that aren't musical in any way.... Most of them have some kind of musical talent. Emily Swallow (Amara), Briana Buckmaster, (Donna) and Lisa Berry (Billie Death) have amazing voices as does Gil McKinney, who played Grandpa Henry Winchester. Richard Speight Jr. also sings, plays bass and guitar. So many more.

Wow! Dude, I had no idea. Although, I knew about Lisa Berry because of her rendition of 'O Death' on the show (I assumed it was her and not an overdub). I heard that Briana is a great singer, too. They should do a tour playing the tunes from the show. I'd love to see that!
