The one and only thing that every BMTH fan knows: u CANNOT get attached to a certain style of music. Literally every album is some sort of different thing. Like Amo, it's more pop, but also rock. But, Suicide Season, pure Screamo. Then That's The Spirit, Metalcore. U can't expect them to do the same thing. It's literally impossible for them to do. But that's what makes them awesome. They don't stick to the same style of music.

I'm glad you like the song and you're not like the other people shitting on them for the change. It's refreshing to have change sometimes and they still totally kick ass going into this new direction. It's kinda popish but it has it's own vibe to it that makes it not pop. Idk, great song and a cover of this would be cool.

@Dimitri Ramos i agree. This kind of change loses alot of there fans from the beginning. Change is good yes but they just went to a different fan base and kinda said screw you guys(us). I was a huge fan of BMTH but now all their concert Ts just hang in my closet bc i just cant bring myself to wear sellout gear.

Are you even sure they have a producer ? Haven’t BMTH stopped producers since post Sempiternal ? Literally in TTS and now Amo, Jordan and Oli were the producers. This is why they are more poppy than their usual metal songs

I enjoyed it, to be honest despite being a fan of sempiternal. I just think of it as a separate thing from their older style, instead of comparing it because it's supposed to poppy not heavy. I can't imagine how you would cover this.

People in genre, especially when it comes to bands are really not open minded when it comes to a band evolving songs and trying new things. I’ve seen a shitload of bands claiming they’re evolving and trying new styles but it just wouldn’t be executed the right way. BMTH is one of those few bands who really do know how to execute what they need very well. People need to stop giving so much shit to bands whenever they go for a sound that is more “mainstream”. As if sounding “mainstream” is bad. As it making pop music is awful. No, just like every other genre. There’s good and bad music. There are awesome pop songs and crappy pop songs. Is medicine a pop song?! Yes. Is it a bad song?! Hell fucking no. Very well produced, nicely written, nothing too complex but very catchy and with a good ambiance. The first time I heard it I was like “wow that’s different” and as time went by, I was like “yooo this is so fucking groovy and catchy “. Such a nice song to sing along. Forget who wrote it, it’s a nice song. And the first two singles had very good guitars in it as well. Open up your mind and appreciate when a band broadens its horizons especially when it’s well done.

The Devil Wears Prada, Polaris, August Burns red, Counterparts, Erra, While she sleeps, Architects, Loathe, Northlane are still excellent examples of how well the genre is evolving. I swear if people could focus on giving a lot more support to the bands I've listed rather than spending their time crying about the fact that BMTH or Parkway Drive chose to evolve in a different direction, maybe, maybe a lot more bands would be inspired to put out interesting metalcore albums rather than the same recycled formulas we're used to.

Well said, this song has been stuck in my head since I first heard it. So that’s a win for them.

I’ve been a fan since the start... and the one thing I’ve always known is to come to their new albums with an open mind because they refuse to be slotted as a single genre and will always push the envelope! They have always blown my mind and kept me listening! Honestly tho since I’ve grown and matured along with the band Amo is my favorite!!!

It's interesting how you approached the song, most listeners including artists would dislike this one the most and just said it's generic. I really respect, you're thinking outside the box and point out it may dissapoint previous albums fans but track itself is not actually bad. On my first listen I was just hm surprised, considering other two songs also but I dig it. Peace!

Yes I would like to see a cover of it. I thing this song is amazing, but of course that it's not the style that I was expecting but it's a really good song! And in my opinion, for Oliver it's not healthy continue to scream like the other songs that we are use to hear from other albums.

Definitely a popy kinda song. But I love the lyrics. The cgi is is great but one problem I have with it is the mouth movement. The message is great and the synth is different from song to song throughout the album which I gotta appreciate
