I can answer that question for you. Back in the early 2000s, I would use a shop vac handle and extension wand 2 inch or 2.5 inch in diameter. And about 6 feet of shop vac hose. Then attach a net bag with a clamp on the end of the hose. And use a 4 to 6 cfm hookah system to create the suction. And on the extension piece, Drill a hole about 4 inches from the opening. And get two male 1/4 inch outer diameter brass air fittings. Then one 1/4 inch brass ball valve. then one 1/ 4 inch female brass coupling . Now once you have your air fittings. Take the 2 male air fittings and connect them in the ball valve . Then put it in the drilled hole. Take the female coupler and secure it on the bottom part of the male fitting. Then connect the air hose on the top part and there you go. A mini air lift system. Also use teflon tape on your air fittings . To prevent air leakage. I hope this truly helps.

Stephen, Welcome Back! Many many thanks for an update on what you've been finding! Hoping this is truly a new chapter full of stories to come! I live on an island, and have picked up a Sea Hunter (second hand) Small coil as well. I have spoken extensively with Garrett, and with a Detectorist on the other coast that tried the bigger coil, and lost small targets. So I'm sure over these months you have found that you cover area slowly. But hey, have a look at your treasure! I don't follow Facebook, but eventually found you on it and saw that you were hunting surf. I was glad that you hadn't given up. I had reached out by KZread email, and I had even reached out to your son regarding shirts and sizing a couple of times and gotten nothing back from him. All of my shirts from when I was in the UK fit differently than those here in the States, and even then, the US has changed fittings for tall skinny men in the last couple of years. So for his effort to send, I wanted a couple of shirts to be sure to fit...whilst I show off my support for the sport- and GoandGarrett half way round the world. Listen, glad to finally see these. I appreciate the added effort it takes to make these and post them- and that not all feedback is positive. Many thanks for your continued sharing, and realy really good show. Thanks very much for your positive words it means so much to us. I asked Garrett direct about info on the sea hunter and they didnt give me very positive answers so I went for the scubatector as a start up in the surf. So far it's been very good indeed and one day I'll move upwards to a better detector when I've decided. As far as the t shirts go if we had seen yiur messages in sure we would of answered. Please feel free to contact me or haz on Facebook and we will be sure to contact you asap. I'm not too well atm but hope to get into the water real soon. I also have many hours of under wster material to post on KZread but my laptop not doing as it's told atm. Waiting to get a new one. Good luck and happy hunting 😊

Let's see what the future holds the little tector has collected me thirty rings and 240 euros in less than 40 hours use so quite happy with that. Only wish I knew about detecting when I loved in SF .CA many years ago would of been cool to hook up

Mate, one day you will put your bare hand on a bottle top attached to a broken bottle-need I say more. I always use a metal garden claw with long handle because it's ideal for prising out stubborn rocks. Oh I forgot to mention large fishing hooks! Consider yourself warned!

baby tiktok can't understand why mine has found many gold although it has difficulty with very small gold. Make sure you have it on the highest setting

Gold is like the freakbeast of metals. It's hard to tell when u have gold. My first gold find I thought it was some junk metal. Mostly the tone will be in the 40s with gold. While silver is like 85 to 100 on the tone.

180 Felixstowe Hunter heyyyy only just seen your comment. Cheers for watching yes been out of it for a while due to live changes. I have quite a few scuba tector videos to upload from summer but there is a problem with my laptop and the gopro data. Getting a new laptop soon. If you get one head for areas with pebbles/rocks there is usually not much sand to dirty the water. Even here in the med a little wind dirties the water in Sandy areas and little waves pull you away from the seabed which is very annoying. I've looked for your channel on KZread having probs finding it. I'll of course sub and share your link on my next video. Could you please give me the link or name. Fanx for watching and supporting us luv 😊😊
