Great finds Greg! Looked into BWD Gorrell of Newport and found a 1910 patent for hardware for a railroad joint. Also found a grave marker in the Roadman Cemetery in Newport for Ben WD Gorrell 1840-1864. Probably Ben Sr.

Some libraries have old newspapers collected and bound in book for, great place to look up old ads for old local stores.

My sister & brother-in-law live in Casa Grande...prefer the heat, so they aren't happy with the cold snap.

Funny that the rouge came with precautions, & imagining two red circles on each cheek!---Strange about the reflector housing...I thought it looked the backplate of a stove knob!--We sure take paved streets for granted.

Greg, we do not have venomous snakes here, but the hornets were bad this year. After our first frost, no worries. So many unique finds. I enjoy all of the spoons and wheat cents you find. My favorite was the gorgeous $1.00 token and the lead Indian child’s toy. Take care.👍👏😀
