Back in high school, I had an old Bounty Hunter. I wasn't very good with it but I found some items. I stopped for 40+ years and was ready to get back in. I had watched many KZread videos including most of the ones by The Hoover Boys. On my birthday this year, Garrett introduced the Apex! I figured it was a sign! On November 30th, I ordered it from Kellyco. A couple of days later, while taking a break, I was watching this Best Finds Compilation video when my doorbell rang. My Apex arrived! Thanks for piquing my interest!

More than little gold couns and bullets, what i like the most about you guys is the friendship you all have with each other. Good people, no backstabbing, on camera anyhow lol. For real though good friends and family are rare. I wish i had more people in my life like this. I metal detect alone, hunt alone, hike and explore alone, etc etc. Good for you guys. Your dads reaction to the gold coun says it all Theres all the history and timeline running thru his head at that moment. Congratulations

Best find ? Are you kidding me?! We watch all your videos. The finds are all amazing. I must tell you, the hurricane is just starting to hit us . We are as ready as we can get. My find . In 1972 I was diving off the Florida coast. In very shallow water I found a 589ad hammerd silver coin . Yes I really did ! Don't know how it got there , but it was minted in what today is Persia . It was a wow moment when I had it authenticated! I know you have found older. But like you say, priceless to me !

Mary Fredette Best of luck Mary! My Mother and I went half-ers on a metal detector back in the mid 70’s. Poked around some farms. We found more bottles than we did coins or buttons. Lol. As a teen, got talking to an old timer in the town I grew up in. He told me that lake in the middle town used to be a beach back in the 30’s to the 50”s. My pal and I (we were probably 15) found all kinds of 40’s and 50’s silver dimes and quarters. Living in Western Canada on the Alberta prairie, those finds are generally as good as it gets. I would love io know what you find on Rhode Island!! So much more history than my part of the the world. I have not touched a metal detector in better than 40 years. These guys make me want to get back in the game.!! Again, best of luck! Such a cool hobby! Rob

I really liked the big gold ring that Bobby found. I think it says "J.B. McClane" on it and "Orregon Forever". There was a J.B. McClane that came West with a wagon train in 1843. He was the first Postmaster in Salem, OR. He was also an Indian Agent and a county treasurer here in Oregon for a while. He did spend a brief time in California looking for gold but came back to Oregon. He was born in Philadelphia in 1820. So that ring could possibly be old also.

Love your videos, been watching for years and this is one of your best. As far as favorite finds: on June 7 I found an 1886 Morgan in great condition and thought I had found my best find of the year. Two days later, June 9, I dug a 2000 year old Hopewell cooper celt 16" down with my Max. You guys are an inspiration to keep on digging. Thanks!

My best coin find was a Claudius II Gothicus, 268-270 A.D. Found on surface by eye, it was on a mole hill and looked like a round ball of mud until I popped it. It is great to see the early history of your country being unearthed. The GW buttons are really special.

All the British coins that are found in the eastern United States is because the Brits were coming here and buying goods and take him back to England and paying with their coins the Spaniards the French the Portuguese the Italians. All of them can be found, especially. In Eastern, Pennsylvania George Washington's Military Academy and Industry, PA I worked on that building. The restore it and modernize it. And I have permission to metal detect that property. And no one else does in the world, but me. I just don't have the equipment or the help because I'm a disabled veteran. But I know the guy that owns the property. And he will let me detect that property. But golden Beaver County Historical Society. Allow me to keep anything I fine. I've got a whole box of pristine. George Washington Military Academy uniform buttons from his students I want $5,000 a piece for them. Brand new look like they did in. 1787 and I got a whole shoebox full of them. They had a fire and burn down an old 300 year-old Barn. Not to mention. All the pristine 1700 and 1600 tools that I got out of there Too bad. They were in a fire. Most of the wooden parts were gone, but I still have all the iron parts.
