Thanks for posting, I bought the Kobalt version #TS10602 at Lowes which came out around $259 after my military discount. It doesn´ t come with the stand, I just use it in my garage shop so I built my own cart. Anyway, what I wanted to point out was something you may not be aware of and that is that the riving knife on both these models is not adjustable to the blade. That lever that you show locks down and that's it. My workpiece would hang up on the riving knife as I pushed it thru and caused burning. It about drove me nuts until today I found a workaround. I found my automotive feeler flat feeler gauges and picked one that I could slip uner the clamp that the lever squeezes together. By the way, the Kobalt manual says nothing about adjusting the riving knife alignment with the blade, but the metabo manual is very deceptive. It says, in the troubleshooting section (page 48) for MATERIAL BINDS ON RIVING KNIFE they say "SEE RIVING KNIFE AND BLADE ALIGNMENT SECTION" but there isn't any such section.

Thanks for your great video - this was one of the best I've seen for this particular saw and made me feel much better about placing an order for it just now ($459US on Amazon right now). It looks like you are running a diablo blade - what did you think of the blade that came with it? Also, I've heard some folks say they don't like some of the plastic parts used under the table surface - any issues with that? Thanks again!

Thank you! I've had no issues with mine. It's a really great saw! Capable of ripping a slab of Red Oak like butter! And as far as the blade that it came with it was an ok blade but it's only good for if you don't have any other blade around and it does't last long. I'm a Diablo guy becase your cutting very dense material and you need a high quality long lasting blade to cut that hard material. You put a Diablo on this saw and it will cut any wood species on this earth!

Have you had any issues with the fence staying square?
