I've always picked up cross sheep's here and there when trading, so I have a small stack of them sitting off to the side

I don't think snake eyes will get a significant hit until after the tins come out. Konami cares more about $$$ then the do about the state of the game.

EU plant players are so good with the deck. It basically perform nowhere else. Ppl hate the deck coz few skillful players managed to make it strong.

​@@invertbridI think people simply don't like the cards, josh himself himself would shrug at them and swith to "actually good cards" to play dragon link, a not so different combo deck despite enjoying more control decks like paleo and anything mixed with runick cards, oh, also sky strikers, he loves raye. In short, people don't like the deck regardless of whether it is strong or not, why bother with a deck so demanding when you could play something equally powerful yet easier to pilot that has so much room for non-engine hand traps and board breakers?

​​​@@invertbridI don't think his personal tastes do have that much of an impact on others, people could see with their own eyes what circular was capable of, they didn't need him to say how busted it was, instead, I think his vendetta against the deck is just a reflection of the broad sentiment towards the deck, both because people just don't like the cards, and also people don't like to wait an eternity to face a board full of interactions that they have to dissect very carefully to win. Say what you want about se, their turn 1 doesn't take that long if uninterrupted, and tenpai finishes the duel quick, past turn 2 the duels can drag a lot tho

12:16 I have a feeling Jasmine is getting banned or at least limited (since the plant decks are using 3 of them), Konami loves the reprint to ban pipeline on meta cards. Just like how I think Apo is getting banned because of Rarity 2 reprint. Also have a feeling we'll see One for One banned as it's seeing play in like 3 different meta decks right now.

Very doubt. Deck only performing in EU after all. Might as well ban EU plant players at this point coz they clearly too broken lol. Even in tier 0 snake eyes format, they still can top with plant. Tho not exactly first time they hit plant coz skillfull players managed to make it good. Last time they tried to hit it.

Deck is high skill ceiling for reason, u even need sometimes to improvise on the spot depends on situation, u can only memorize so much. And apparently only EU plant players can do it, that's why u don't see the deck perform anywhere else, despite u can "memorize spreadsheet".

I mean I wouldn't call it impressive, if you don't draw hyper specific board breakers or enough hand traps the deck auto wins going 1st. Dark Ruler and Evenly aren't really seeing play, and that's kinda the only way to deal with the plant board. And yes the lack of EU events is part of the reason why the deck did so well, because nobody sideboarded vs the deck. That does in fact affect how well a deck performs. It doesn't mean the people who placed with plants didn't play well, it means it was a good environment for the deck to perform because people were going into the event blind with no idea what people were bringing (because of the lack of events) and everyone was siding vs Snake-Eye/Tenpai.

​​​@@hallyuniverseThing is, the deck is equally vulnerable to the same handtraps and board breakers than other heavy combo decks, players side decks should've been equally prepared for their boards and plays, they simply didn't use them properly or didn't got them in time. is not like plants work particularly different than other combo decks, it's not labrynth, dinomorphia or floo which need very specific counters and plays.

I dont quite understand your dig at european players as to why plant won and came 1st/2nd at nats. Players arent suddenly playing more casual decks, if anything with tenpai being a cheap meta deck lots of people actually had access to a meta viable strategy where in other years they couldn't afford to. on top of that plant was a very good call for nats precisely becuase we have had no events in europe, a very select group of people have been sitting on this strategy for months and have not had any reason to showcase it until now, its not necessarily the best meta call ever however its an established strategy with new support. to downplay the deck/playerbase for being worse doesnt make sense at all.

Good thing I got toad earlier.

Europeans confirm that they can play variety instead of quantity of snake eyes crap even without events, you Americans must learn that the game is various not waiting only our players deck lists

Let's keep it a buck, even if we got a new format with new/old strategies shining, you guys would still complain about that one as well. Can't be pleased unless it's YOUR deck then it's suddenly such a "refreshing format." The game has its ups and downs, I think we've been here long enough to recognize that.
