Willow Smith took my breath away; sculptural beauty. I usually can't stand Italians but Luca Guadagnino is the exception, in my book he can do no wrong. Lil Nas X follows close behind and Cynthia Erivo another breathtaking queen of fashion. There are so many, it was hard to pick.

Every year I'm disappointed by how off the mark these celebrities are when it comes to executing the Met Gala theme. Only a few celebrities really nailed this theme. Demi and Lana del Rey both nailed the theme. Serena and Venus always look awful, they need to fire their stylists. Thank you for sharing.

I was thinking this too. Because it is so extreme, it’s hard not to think “Why?”. Many years ago perhaps people could turn a blind eye. In this day and age, ignorance is a choice. I felt conflicted because I was interested in seeing people pushing the envelope especially regarding gender norms, but at the same time I feel that it should be done for charity (perhaps it is in some way. I am not sure).

So many people with so little imagination. Overall a very colorless and sad garden.

camp =/= mess, just saying . i'm not impressed with any of this. except for a few obvious exceptions (9:05 to 9:45 and 10:07) , I find all of this either bland or plain ugly . What has happened to that that industry ? there is a hollowness ... I predicted this back when Lagerfeld died and then later when they ganged up on Galliano over something he said while drunk . I just knew this hollowness was where we were heading 😐

I said one. Theme was The Garden of Time. The Ball is a celebration of the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition and raises money for The Met. The Costume Institute is inside The Met. The institute’s exhibit is called Reawakening Beauties. Some people choose the easier theme.
