Those who don't follow the theme of the Met Gala should be sent home. I don't care how big of a celebrity they are and how much clout and money they have. If you don't understand the assignment, stay home.

You guys didn’t mention newcomer Mona Patel in THE most amazing gown with moving butterfly’s on her arms, she perfectly represented the theme and was the most beautiful on the Met steps!

Some have started out poor and worked hard for their money. And you don't know if and when they give to charities, as they most keep that private. They can have their party, you don't have to look. Don't be too quick to judge.

Thank you for a well thought out commentary. I watched the Met Gala on tv & enjoyed remembering the different looks. I loved Zendaya, she did everything right. The difference between the people who dressed for the theme & those who simply wanted to look naked was obvious. But it was all fun to see. Thank you for this video & your pleasant voice. I'm a customer for life.

totally agree! Gigi always knows how to make a statement on the red carpet!

The classic evening gowns adorned with flowers best evoked the Garden of Time theme. The classic gown with the flowered hat was timeless elegance. The expensive underwear worn as outerwear was outdated. The short skirts, nude dresses, and nearly naked fabric strips looked cheap. The costumes were sometimes silly. Some of the outfits looked yucky.

Great theme! The worsts are Michelle Yeoh in a tin foil thing, Serena Williams... huhhh! Gigi Hadid looked great with cropped hair. Kaia Gerber could've been better.

Disappointed by Zendaya - neither was that great and personally kind of think two looks is cheating! Faves were Elle Fanning for giving something beautiful I've not seen before and Elizabeth Debicki for just being breathtaking. And it's a shame Loewe didn't clock it had Ariana and Taylor Russel in such similar dresses!
