I recently just passed 5 years of the birth of this channel. We’ve come a long way and I couldn’t be more thankful for everything that this journey has brought me, whether it’s highs or lows, it’s always been lessons and growth. I’ve developed, matured and improved as an editor and I don’t intent to stop any time soon. I really dont understand how people can compare Ozil with any other play maker in terms of through passing quality. He may have been out of form for a long time, or be very inconsistent player; but still, he is the best playmaker-passer in the World after 2010. Only Xavi was better than him. KDB, Eriksen, D.Silva are all great players, but Ozil is extraordinary. His vision is uniqie. Those passes we saw in this video are irreplaceable.

Antares ..the argument of him being lazy is so over exaggerated just because his way and body language doesn’t show him as being opposite. He is not a defensive midfielder. What our biggest weakness is in our defence. We don’t actually have strong wingbacks that are actually good defensively. Heck our defence hasn’t been strong since the last 10 Yrs....Ozil is a playmaker and he needs to be utilized for his strengths, not so that he can carry out defensive duties of our defenders. Maybe you need to watch this video again and see where his strengths lie. Cheers mate..

Anyone who is a football fan can clearly see how good this guy is. As much as Arsenal fans have critisized him even after seeing how many of his passes never produced an end product, I feel had most of his brilliant passes could have been finished, at this point his wages would be a no brainer. What Arsenal clearly lacked during the last 10yrs or so was a proper DM, and a solid defence. We were brilliant going forward, but lacked a solid defence. After the Vermaelan didn’t fit, we should have looked for someone who would fit Koscielny outside of Per... Wenger got some great players through his tenure, but never really enhanced the defensive position of the team, and so we struggled against good opponents. Arsenal is in the same boat right now with so many defensive injuries. Whether Ozil plays or not, the team will struggle, but with Ozil, you will always have a chance to create and score. The 22 match unbeaten run that Arsenal had was a fortunate luck that Emery got, but in many of those games, a knowledgable person could see that our defence held up, but we still lacked creativity thus where Ozil comes into the picture. He would be an asset to any team. Wenger really had an exceptional team with the likes of Sanchez, Giroud, Ramsey, Ozil, Wilshire, Diaby, Rosicky, Arshavin, Fabregas, RVP and the list can go on...sure the likes of Walcott, Ox and Welbeck were important but the injuries were of abundance as well...and I can’t really name or remember any one on the defensive side outside of Koscielny who has served Arsenal well. Ozil is the only superstar left in this Arsenal team outside of the 2 strikers that we finally have. We don’t have any ball handling defender maybe outside of Monreal or kosalinac, and kosalinac strength should be his defence and its not. Same is with Bellerin. His greatest asset is not his defence. The only thing he brings consistently is his speed. So at the moment as we stand, Arsenal need to sure up the defence and find a way to get this guy to play in the starting 11. It amazes me how many sitters have missed their target in this video. The same can be said about Germany missing out of qualifying for knockout stages at the WC 2018. There were 2 beatiful passes Ozil produced in the match against S Korea that didn’t go into the back of the net. Maybe Germany would have avoided the turmoil at least for that moment. Ozil should definatly be in this Arsenal team, there is too much talent for Emery to let it go to waste. Thanks and cheers all..

@R9 Where do I even begin? You are so wrong on so many of your deluded claims. First, Madrid did not force him out. Carlo wanted to test out Di Maria early on, which Ozil took as a lack of trust. To say no other big club came in for him is also false as the reason he chose us was merely because Wenger had tried signing him before he went to Madrid. He promised Wenger that when a chance would arise, he'd give him the call. The second point is obviously false as there were plenty of rumors about a move to United and Barca. For your third point, PSG made an offer to take him as a replacement for their injured #10 as Ozil is still one of the best, if not the best #10 in the world excluding the GOAT who plays in Catalonia. The fourth point shows you really are incompetent of interpreting anything outside popular narratives as he clearly dealt with a rising right wing in Germany hellbent on blaming someone for their embarrassment. Just for the sake of this claim, go watch the two chances he created in his finale for Germany. Literally on a plate for Hummels and Werner. For your fifth point, Arsenal have sadly ousted an elegant tactician and replaced him with a Spanish David Moyes. The man is trying to run us as a lower-end club which values stability and conservative football over creativity. Your last point is invalid as Mourinho has time and time again come out in defense of Ozil and even tried getting him at United. But alas, you will continue to believe what you believe, even in the face of undeniable evidence. Have a nice day :)

Özil feared that he would be benched by Ancelotti so he moved to Arsenal. His move to Arsenal was not premeditated one but was accidental one which happened only in 10-15 days

Videos like this are so frustrating, it shows not only how brilliant ozil is and how he can open defenses up and create space. Sadly it also shows why so many people think ozil is over rated, it shows all of the missed shots by those he passes to. There is a reason why people say ozil only showed up for RM and Germany, because those two teams had some of the best finishers in the game. They converted his passes, thus highlighting his contributions. Heres the thing, ozil makes these kinds of passes and chances with arsenal (see above) but they arsenal players he passes to are inconsistent. After a 90 min draw or loss people start saying “well where was ozil?” “Why didnt ozil show up and create?” HE DID, YOU JUST DIDNT NOTICE BECAUSE NOBODY SCORED. Even in russia 18 where people say ozil let Germany down, go back and watch those games he played in, ozil was there, making passes, creating space, getting balls into the box... only this time Germanies attackers looked more like Arsenal, nobody converted. If ozil had a Salah or Mbappe or a Silva infront of him people would say his name in the same conversations as De Bruyne.
