I don't understand what you and other American KZreadrs are saying about wearing this style to work. Here in London when I wear my hair like that to work I'm complimented and told how elegant it looks especially when I'm wearing a suit! and I've worked at some really posh places.

We literally had a Supreme Court ruling that said work places can discriminate and not hire folks with dreadlocks in the United States. It's not the case at the places I've worked at, but I could see where someone who works in a conservative environment may need to tone it down. BUT! I also thank you for your insight from across the pond! I need to go visit London in my life at least once.

Going to starting my dreads soon. Seattle here

I've been curious. Your early loc pictures look like they were thicker. Did you separate them out sometime in your first year? They look thinner now.

Nope, the I've actually combined a few locs as time has gone on and they've become thinner.

@@nrrbull a lot of varieties of ponytails that are meant to stick up like how X used to do the pineapple on top his head. My dreads just barely touch my shoulders but i got a long ass neck so often times theyll sit awkwardly when theyre down. Usually i just do either a regular ponytail or a bun or ill mix it up with some pigtails or offset ponytail stuff like that
