Look into insurance coverage for things like washable incontinence pads, depends, or check sheets too. Insurance should have a book of what all they provide, otherwise you could call your insurance sales person and find out, even if they are poor they’re probably still our benefits available to you if you talk to a social worker. 💕 God bless you I spend many hours taking care of my mom(and four children as a betweener millennial), it’s pretty exhausting, I could use some prayers, I’ll be praying for you too.

@PendalMarks do you also support the stores that have staff checking your receipts before they let you exit? what if they also wanted you to empty your pockets and open your purse? Do you think that this is an effective deterrent to shoplifting? I'm curious. by accusing the DT Corp of understaffing which in turn results in messy stores, you are absolving DT customers of any responsibility they have to behave as humans with manners and not wild monkeys, and to be respectful of DT staff and other customers. That absolution of responsibility - or the lack of consequences for bad behavior only results in worse and more instances of bad behavior. It won't be until our society once again holds ourselves accountable for our own actions as well as encouraging our families, friends and neighbors to be accountable for their actions, as well, that we can go out with expectations of excellent service, clean and well stocked retail outlets, safe streets, etc. That won't happen if people don't change but DT does hire one or even two sadly underpaid, unenthusiastic employees who make it obvious to everyone that they would rather be anywhere else than working at DT. But ofc, that's just mho.

Vinegar never gets enough recognition. I keep it in a spray bottle and use it on my sinks, my pots, my kettle, my Keurig my fridge and of course on all the taps. NOTHING gets rid of water spots faster. That rainbow effect on your pots and pans disappear with a squirt of vinegar. It's magical. Watching this at 8 in the morning while working from home and I have to tell you, your excitement is contagious. My mood has been elevated just by watching. Thanks for all the tips!! My favorite suggestion to share would be to grab a dollar tree peg board and hooks for your kitchen and use to hang up all of your measuring cups and spoons for easy access. I cleared out a small drawer by doing this, giving me more room in an already small kitchen. I also put a peg board by the door for keys. A second tip for space saving is to take a dollar tree napkin holder and some strong-ish magnets. Put the magnets on the fridge, put the napkin holder on the magnets, and instant mail holder.

I love using the little rinestones that are normally for nails on craft projects instead. I can sometimes even find Chrome powder in those areas as well and while there isn't a lot in them, the normal prices for chrome powder on line is crazy. If you do miniture painting or just want to gild a frame with just a little bit of silver chrome, its actually the perfect amount. Also adding Coconut milk and a little spice to Ramen plus some frozen veggies and you have a really awesome fast and simple meal on a budget for when your rushing around. I just want to say, please be kind to those who work in these stores even if the place might be a mess. Sometimes its because the store is not getting enough hours or they don't have enough workers. It isn't always because the workers aren't doing their job, sometimes its cause so much is put on their shoulders that they can't finish everything they are supposed to do.

I worked in a dollar store (now a Dollar Tree) in the late '90s, and it was never as chaotic as they feel now. The difference is we had about five workers per shift on the weekends. My local DTs - some of which are bigger and get the new departments first - rarely have more than three employees working. I really feel for them! I try to make their lives a bit easier when I can...

One of my best DT finds--those tall metal paper towel holders. In our garage we have wire shelf units. I zip tie the holder anywhere on the shelf I need it to create "book end style" separations on the shelf to keep things in order. Piles of rags no longer end up all over, chemicals have their own row and nothing gets knocked over. The holders can also be attched to the underside facing downward.

Here is a couple more tips: • Use the reacher grabber bar in your garden. I recently used mine to bring stems of my raspberry bush closer and to hold onto the stems as I picked the berries • get some picnic table cloth weights and clip them onto the bottom of your large sheets and towels when you hang them on a clothes line, in order to prevent them from wrapping around the clothes line. This is not a foolproof idea, especially on seriously windy days. But you can clip on multiple weights to each item depending on how windy it is

Everytime I see Kathryn using "the grabber" in these videos, it makes me think of my short, chubby farmer Dad. We used to tease him because he had them everywhere, behind the seat of his ElCamino, in the bed of his farm work pickup, hanging in his equipment service shop, in the broom closet in his kitchen and more! Back then I was young enough to hop on the counter to get those high dishes or laundry stuff....he loved them! He even took them into the grocery store when shopping, in later years he had one velcro strapped to his seat/walker, total strangers at the auctions, even had him grab things for them too. Now I get it jumping on the counters isn't so easy anymore, he would have loved the cheap dt price too, I can't imagine more in his universe... I miss you Dad!
