I assume you have read it now but the ending of 'The Last Argyuments of Kings' blew me away, now I reccomend The First Law to anyone who'll listen. Just finished reading 'The Trouble With Peace' as well a few days ago and it was phenomenal.

I super appreciate you explaining how Messiah is weird from your point of view, I'd love to hear more I find it really interesting. You can really be in bubble if you get your ideas of the world just from TV, like not realizing how many languages are spoken in one country or how the policing really works. The most I know about the Israel military experience is from watching Zero Motivation years ago. Did you finish Altered Carbon? The second season is coming out and I didn't even finish the first, I'm curious if it's worth continuing.

I really liked season 1 of Altered Carbon, I was bummed to learn that the lead actor is changing but I guess it makes for the show. I recommend watching it all the way through if you're a Sci-Fi fan. I'm making my full review for Messiah now so I'll definitely go into those points in a bit more detail there!

Love your videos and it's really neat to see a more personal side of you in this vlog. Of course it helps that your daughters are absolutely adorable! Btw, is that a Pied Piper shirt you're wearing? :D

I have a lot of catching up to do there, I haven't watched passed season 2 yet because I don't have a convenient place to watch it (I don't think it's on any of the streaming services I have).

Is The Magicians worth watching s1 havent been all that so far.

James yeah it took me a while to get going with it too. It gets a lot better and crazier, but you really have to leave the suspension of disbelief at the door.

Hi Ron. As you're a big Doctor Who (as am I) what do you think of series 11 and the current series that is out(though you may be waiting to bing it in one sitting)?

I've been having a lot of problems with Prime Video (only place I can watch it) so I'll wait until the season runs through and then I'll watch it all. The previous season I thought was kind of weak but I loved Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor. It was the same with Capaldi, his first season wasn't great but he ended up being one of my favorites.

@@BingeWatchers I thought that series 11 was very weak indeed. Jodie wasn't awful but she definitely wasn't that great. The worst sin in that series was the writing, it was very poor. I have yet to see series 12 but from what I've read doesn't get much better (with the exception of one episode being back to form). I do agree Peter Capaldi got alot better in series 9 and he is actually a really good actor (I advice watching the satire show "The Thick of It" it really displays his great acting abilities (and his potty mouth haha). I personally thought the writing would be better as Chris Chibnall wrote Broadchurch (another great show starring David Tennant, Jodie is also in it) All in all I hope there will be a new writer which will bring the show back to it's glory days.
