The biggest disrespect we can show CR7 and M30 is treating them like literal success machines. Their success is their handwork. Admire them. but never expect anything from them. Because they are at the end of the day humans just like us. They eat food, spend time with family, live their own life. Stop torturing them with your dreams that is to be put in action through them. Instead thank them for all the memories that they gave us, all the excitement we experienced when they touched the field. It break's my heart to see them dragged through mud when they are not able to perform well in a match. They owe nothing to anyone, and yet their loyalty to the club and their fans were pure. And what have they got other than criticism when they don't perform? One day, after the last criticism they will never touch the field again and only then people will understand how much they have enjoyed them and took it for granted.

I saw some bitter comments in that sense, that if Messi was a "real" Barça fan he should have gone to play to USA or China or any other league where he would get a ton of money without being a threat to them. Selfish idiots, after all Messi gave to that club! They want him to waste his last years in a lesser league, when he has still a lot of football to give. Not all Barca fans think like that, not even the majority I hope... but there are some of them.
