Meso Hassona, 94kg lifter from Qatar, lifting in preparation for the 2018 Asian Games.
Some Notes:
-His full legal name is Fares Ibrahim El Hassona El Bakh. If you were going to shorten his name to two names to be more similar to most Western names, his name would be Fares Hassona. Hassona is his father's last name. However, he said that no one calls him Fares, he goes by Meso. He said it's a nickname but not necessarily a common one for people named Fares. So anyway, he goes by Meso Hassona. Hopefully that makes sense.
-In the first workout Meso did up to 170kg snatch (7:28), up to 190kg snatch pulls (8:29), and up to 155kg clean and push press, a PR for him (10:29).
-In the second workout he did up to 245kg front squat (16:12), attempted 260kg front squat (17:11).
-In the third workout he did up to 210kg clean and jerk (23:04).
-In the event he went on to do 166/215 and earn overall silver.
