Whole set is to a click, you can see Jens tapping the mic in time with his in ears before the song starts. It’s really damn impressive, they put on such an amazing live show

@@tambian89 I never look down-upon any band that relies upon a click. Not that you do, but that it’s really a sacrifice on their part. They way they hear the performance compared to the audience must be torture after a while. Nonetheless, they’re legends for doing what’s necessary to be air-tight.

@@snail415 I get you and same - I actually think it's more difficult playing to the click live, far moreso than in the studio where you can do multiple takes, even with the live sound engineers they probably have.

@@etzenhammer also Metallica wanted to sound like a garage rock band. They kept it raw. Who cares how tight it is. Meshuggah uses live metronomes and triggers. They write their songs with computer programs. Some of their albums are literally drum samples.

This is the best Jens has ever sounded IMO. Absolutely crushing vocals and perfect execution. Meshuggah is the GOAT 🐐

As someone who has been skipping Bleed whenever I’m listening to Obzen, I can honestly say it’s probably one of the most important pieces of music of our time. It will be remembered forever.

Meshuggah is just a bunch a music nerds that got let loose in the studio. Its great.

I saw these guys in a basement in Sweden, circa 1996. It was pretty cool. Jens wasn't with them. They did a an hour and a half of their songs and answered questions from the audience. We were like 45 nerdy dudes. At some point the entire band left Mårten by himself and went for a piss, he was obviously uncomfortable being alone on stage and they knew it. Hilarious! They played a lot of stuff from None and Destroy, Erase, Improve. And they did requests! Was a good night.

This is what I imagine primordial hyperspace sounded like when universes spontaneously started existing. Primal intensity that words actually can’t describe but I did my best.

Seen them in Cincinnati and it blew my fucking mind. You’ll never experience anything like a meshuggah show. Up front too. I hope to catch them many more times, sad part is seeing as to how old they are I don’t know how many more tours or albums they have left in them

As someone who spent 5 months to be able to play this half-decently on guitar, the fact all 5 of these guys can STILL play this song in perfect sync seems downright inhuman

Remember people, they're playing this at the END of the setlist. Insane

Shoutout to the lighting team who are also playing this but with the LIGHTS

To still be doing this song after this long and advancing in their years and still sounding like they wrote it yesterday is astounding.

Damn I'm going to see them this weekend can't wait!

I’ve been a fan since ‘99. I couldn’t be happier or prouder of these guys. They (and Devin Townsend) have made the last 25 years a real listening joy. Glad they’re still slappin’ bitches on a nightly basis.

Each and every security guard became instant meshuggah fans that night!

Strong performance Meshuggah.

They age like a fine wine.

Bleed is one of those songs that normally id be tired of because its the bands most popular song.. but its so incredible that ive never gotten sick of it. Seeing it live is an absolute assault too. Must see live.

I’m glad metal has Meshugga Cattle Decapitation, and cannibal corpse I’m not the biggest fan of Meshugga but, their live abilities and quality breed a culture of bands that want to continue that same trend. It’s working too, I’ve gone to 4 metal shows in the last 2 years and all the bands were going hard sounding tighter than ever

Tomas Haake even when lars was he young can't touch this guy, the dude is next level on the drums. Mesuggah are top tier.

This song is ridiculous. What makes it worse is how they always find a slightly different pocket to sit in every time they do it live…. The song is an absurd idea. The record version was intense. Yet I still seek out live versions, hard to say about any modern metal acts frankly
