Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I picked up this Geolink case for the Heltec V3 board from Lilygo, and it will hold a larger battery than other Heltec V3 cases I have owned. Let's take a look!

For anyone looking to purchase these cases, get them in ABS/ASA or print in ABS/ASA. Standard PLA or PLA+ is going to warp in a hot car or environment. I personally run a few of these with an external repeater node on a solar panel here in Texas. PLA for outside use is a no go.

I have purchased a couple of 3D printed cases off Etsy and ebay. I find that they are sensitive to heat and warp. So don't leave them on a car seat or work bench in a hot garage.

I'm just getting into 3D printing myself but I do know that PLA will melt/deform in a hot car. Look for cases made from PETG or ABS.

Great review, I might have to try one of those. For a battery, get a Orbtronic 3400mAh 18650. They're protected which is critical, doesn't look like the Panasonics you have are protected. Not inexpensive, but not "cheap". I've used them in my flashlights for years, and they're working flawless in my meshtastic nodes and lasting over a week.

It would be a good idea to talk briefly about ESD protection when you touching electronic circuits. I always recommend at a minimum that you touch the metal case of your PC to discharge any static YOUR carrying before you handle the electronics. It doesn’t take much to smoke the electronics. If you walk on carpet, your chair has a fabric seat AND if the humidity is low be careful. For those that wear polyester, you’re particularly susceptible to generate a ESD
