I think a lot of her success has to do with intelligence. She seems like a very smart and gifted woman.

My opinion of Meryl Streep the actress is she goes beyond portraying a character and completely, for that time, becomes the person. Her research into ficticious and real characters is astounding right down to learning languages accents and class related dialects. Truly a classic Hollywood Star of our times.
