I know I really thought they were going to end up together too I mean I know she lived in which one was it Minnesota Michigan something like that but you can make it work and I really think he was heartbroken after her and that's why he settled for that skanky pita can't stomach her I would have rather seen him with Karina if I had to pick between the two but I really think Max and my role were true love and soulmates 7 years later and I'm still heartbroken they didn't and end up together LOL I guess part of it's because about a year and a half later I found out my fiance of 10 years was cheating on me so I'm going to blame that on me so being heartbroken over this

@@snowwhitedopeydisney4396 I don't jave anything against Peta, but to me M&M just fit better. Their energy, the way they talked to eachother and seemed to understand eachother, their connection just felt real. I didn't feel that with Peta

this season was iconic, i remember i was refreshing youtube like crazy to watch all their rehearsals every week! they really were soulmates i'll never understand how it didn't worked out in real life

Never ever seen Maks light up around anyone else like this but Meryl. They were pure magic

I love the way that she can't keep her hands out of his hair...what they have together comes from a place and space that is "just there for them"...a power and draw that is so special that these magic moments are theirs to have and hold on to forever. I feel privileged to have been a witness to this magic moment in their time together.

He's fallen head over heals for her. I do not for a second believe it's just a showmance. You can't fake this. Great video!

You are absolutely correct!! These two were very much in love and Maks was so wonderfully vulnerable with her. Sweet, sweet love.

@@whiteshell1 and you can also be really connected and smitten with someone despite having a partner. Their connection, whatever label you put on it, went beyond friendship--maybe to a soul mate level because people around both Meryl & Maks said how they each changed.

Is it just me or does his voice break when he says "this one"? So sweet.

There will never be another dance couple ever on this show

meryl deserves to be treated like a queen she is a beautiful good woman.

Epic, iconic, and beautiful, still all these years later !! Bless and love as you both continue on your authentic paths, having touched each others hearts and souls, and ours too :)

I've barely watched DWTS at all since that season because I just know it will never be that good again.

That was the last season I watched. Max was a huge reason I watched the show so between him and not coming back and as you said no one will never match them or even come close most of the original pros are gone and I didn't care for a lot of the new ones and each season the pics of the supposed celebrities were getting pretty bad so I agree with Max you leave while you're on the top I wish they would do another All-Star season so we could watch Max and Merrill again assuming and hoping that they would agree to come back I mean it's 7 years later and I still can't get enough of them LOL

He loves her! And the feeling is mutual! Why didn't they end up together?! Him and PETA don't have the same thing!

Trust me, it was in there at first. But the way they were so close together actually muffled their voices, at least in the video I have, and it was too quiet and couldn't be heard over the music.
