I watch their programs over and over again . They are simply beautiful ❤

I could watch them for hours, and I do. Meryl and Charlie are simply magnificent. They are the epitome of hard work and determination. Sing praises to their parents for all their contributions to make these two the greatest ice dancers of all time. My dream to see Meryl and Charlie in person.

They are the EPITOME in the ice dancing world. Yes, the USA has a lot of talent right now - Maia, Alex, Madison and Evan, but not compared to Meryl and Charlie!!!! I've seen them during SOI2014 and they were so awesome. I'll be seeing them again SOI2015 in Hershey, PA on 3/18.

I've described Davis and White as the 'athletic Torvill and Dean'. Artistry and athleticism. A perfect combination.

If I was to introduce someone to ice skating who has never seen it before, this is the performance I would show. Beauty, grace, and charm synchronized to perfection. Bravo!

They didn't just bring it to life, they raised it to adulthood. Amazing simply, amazing.

I could watch them for hours at a time. They react to the tone the music sets and change from one tempo to another all the time using the entire rink. Superb and beautiful

Sometimes they get so close to the boards it's scary. lol!

There's always something imperfect to home in on, but IMHO, Davis and White are the best dance pair since Torvall and Dean. They are nearly perfect, and the way they combine music, costume, performance, and the soul of the dance makes one fabulous pair.

The facial expressions are perfect! Their energy and footwork are wonderful to watch!

2:31 Love this part, where he picked her up and spin, and then she twizzle into his arms in a waltz. So smooth. I haven't seen a pair that can dance on ice as well as Meryl and Davis.

Unfortunately our current Ice Dancing teams are not near this level. Musically, D&W were superb, and their lifts became even more refined.

I hope one day we’ll have an ice dance team like them again but I think it might be a long wait.

They are nothing less than magnificent.! This actually brings me to tears - especially when they go into the waltz portion. In a way, they remind me of Michelle Kwan. I know!! Michelle is a singles dancer, but what I'm referring to is the confidence you feel as a spectator - knowing you will always be watching an amazing performance. My favorite was her performance of Tosca. The audience went crazy. Meryl and Charlie's performance at the Olympics was also breathtaking (Sherazade). You wonder how they can keep up the tremendous pace and the intricate technique. I will definitely miss seeing them at the competitions. BRAVO!!

The announcers were very complimentary about this performance. I don't know what happened at worlds 2012 but Meryl and Charlie should have won. They were flawless!!

I agree with you Teresa. I also watch them for hours. My dream was to see them marry each other - but it was not to be. Charlie is married, but his wife asked Meryl to be a bridesmaid, so that was a nice to learn. I loved their overhead split and Meryl's position, as well as their final move, when she literally flew into his arm. They are just beautiful to watch - especially their expressions when they look at each other. He always sets her down gently with a smile on his face and she always has a loving look in her eyes when she looks at him (Can you blame me for wanting the whole fairy tale?!) Oh well, as long as they continue dancing together, I guess I'll have to be content with that. (LOL)

So far .... Ice dance & the UDA ice dance has come so far. Most of us had never heard of it until a bluzzard wiped out the skiing events in Sarajebo & TV had to put something else on, so we saw ice dancing for the first time.

For their gala/exhibition performance (the "Skating Spectacular"), I believe they skated to "Someone Like You" sung by Adele. For this Free Dance, the music is from the operetta "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss, Jr.

Wow! Spectacular performance! I think that was Susie Winn commentating. She’s spot on with how musical D/W were.

@dfbrat The song that Davis and White used for their 'gala'/exhibition performance is "Someone Like You" sung by Adele. There are several videos of them doing that same exhibition program during 2011 (Skate America 2011, COR 2011 Ex).

@truelovewaits94 Because the AUDIO in this particular video is NOT in-synch with the video. It's a few seconds delayed. Their performance actually is right on cue with the music during the actual event. Judges will not give you a perfect 10 for 'timing' if you're off.

@alwilliam I was wrong. The first time I saw this particular performance was youtube. I just saw the tv version and they were, indeed, perfection :)
