And now for something a little different - our first anime cover! Sure we've mainly stuck to game music with a pinch of classical and classic rock in the past, and it'll likely stay that way, but we'll play anything and this song really struck a chord with me when Season 5 of My Hero Academia first aired back in 2021. I've been working at it on and off since then (though Nicole would argue it's been done since 2021 and didn't need the extra 1.5 years of mixing/procrastinating), but it truly feels Plus Ultra enough for release at last!
Nothing too notable in terms of style or arrangement with this cover, but we did develop a few new synth and guitar tones to fit the desired sound so we'll definitely be using them to spice up future songs.
