Hi Sam! Interested in this one, but I can't find the full written review/follow-up ... Thanks for what you do.

Sam is propably the best and most competent runningshoe tester. I get great value from RTR's revews. But Sam has feet with the width of a pencil 😀 When Sam says "plenty of room..." it means I have to go up at least half a size, maybe a full size (Brooks). It took a couple of shoes to be able to decode Sam, but now I know what he means and what it means for me. Always looking forward to the next RTR video. And no matter what I do, I cannot get my foot to fit inside Merrels, without severe pain.

Strange...merrell are typically one of the widest toe box shoes even in standard fit...even better for me than other running companies do in wide fit)

I heard you compare them to the Salomon sense pro 4 - I have these but don’t like how much torsion they have in the mid foot. It twists sideways too much, after something former. How are these with that aspect? Is it firm and only bends at the toes, or more twisty like the sense pro 4???

I don't have my pair with me but I would say from recollection not as torsionally rigid as Sense Pro 4. Part of what you are feeling I think is not so much how torsionally rigid they are but how narrow the mid foot platform is?
