Great series idea. I see this sort of thing a lot in the anime/weeb community, but I think this is the first time I've seen content like this in the mer community. Also I remember when I first found this community potion videos would pop up in my recommended and they were always so ridiculous 😂

Thank you. Hahaha yeah I had the same thing happen to me which is why I had to start with a potion video. I do love the mermaid community, but boy are there some STRANGE things you can't find within it!

I saw someone make a mermaid potions with sunscreen and ranch seasoning 💀💀 and then they drank it😭

In all honesty i love what you're doing here, this is a beautiful thing and i want to see more mersister 💖 I have had something like a mermaid potion once, it a was a blue raspberry lemonade with edible glitter in it, it was literally called mermaid lemonade! Im so excited to see more of this series!

😂😂 As a kid I def made potions from stuff outside like dirt and leaves etc. As a pagan myself I definitely found this funny. The first blue potion was super pretty as a decorative piece for sure!!

@@mermaidminnow My pagan practice I’ve done for years. As for mermaiding, I was a lifeguard for years and have flippers I’ve used. But I would like to find a salt pool just cause chlorine is so hard on my hair. So that’s where I am now. Stuck. Lol. Covid doesn’t help. Hope you are well!

Lmfao I did so many of these as a kid, I’m a pagan witch now. I personally believe my intent as a kid while making those potions led me here and led me to my success in competitive swim, so I’m a merman in a sense. I’ve made my own tails (Only the skins though. Used an actual monofin of course) I guess they worked in their own way 🧜🏻‍♂️

Hahaha you're definitely not alone! That's so awesome that you're successful in competitive swimming now too!

I am a Wiccan, so I do believe in magic in a sense. I personally would not ever think that a potion like this would ever work, so I would never think this video was offensive. I do think it's smart that you had the disclaimer at the begining of the video, because I'm sure some people would somehow think you were making fun of believing in magick.

Thank you, yeah I think that most people who practice some sort of craft or magick wouldn't believe that the potions would work as advertised. But you never know, and I don't ever want to bash anyone's beliefs.
