@@MerlintheMaineCoon Every time I see him I'm reminded of the time I lived and worked in Maine and all the Maine Coon Cats I encountered - not a bad one in the whole bunch.

We have been using the Panasonic Lumix G85 now for three years. We even bought a second one. You will really like it. I do highly recommend a nice lens for low light. I often end up using my phone in night settings because of lack of light. Enjoy your new stuff.

Thank you very much! It is very interesting to hear about other user’s experience. We have been using it for quite some time now and we thought a nice prime lens would be fine for low light instead of the kit lens. The camera is great (apart from AF) and good value for money. @@MerlintheMaineCoon sounds like you have had a similar experience. We have another KZread channel (Car Channel called Heidi and Franny's Garage) We bought the G85 for that channel. Did not like the kit lens, bought a mid grade one with stabilization. It has done well. Unfortunately, we dropped it about a year ago when on a car gig. It was about the time we knew we were going to start Ozzie and Zeke's channel. We bought the second camera. The lenses was ok. Funny, dropping it did something to the actual body. Anyhow, to make a long story longer, we put the kit lens on our camera for the cats and the used one we bought has the upgraded lens. The cat stuff can handle the small blemish, because the cats move so much. It was a win win for both. Feel free to email me if you want to chat. We have been doing KZread for over three years now.
