Carmen Garcia Ellen did not get an emmy for her role in Greys Anatomy nor any other work. From the series’ acting category, only 2 actresses have won an Emmy. Katherine Heigl who played Izzie won it in 2007 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and Loretta Devine who played Adele Webber won it in 2011 for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. To my knowledge, Ellen Pompeo has not won or even been nominated for an Emmy although in 2007 she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama. She has received a few people’s choice awards though but im not gonna bore you with the facts of that which you can find on the internet if you’re interested.

One thing I love bout this is how much Meredith cares for Callie. despite George and Izzy, despite the past Meredith considers Callie one of her people. I loved when Meredith told Callie she wasn't crazy and they could be friends, the two of them are actually my favs. they should have more scenes together!

This scene could not be more relevant after the train wreck that is season 11. Except now she doesn't have Derek around to make her better... Why is the universe so screwed up, Mer? SHONDA RHIMES.

Once she has a baby , her uterus changes and becomes more stable

The way he pulls her in for a cuddle and the way he looks at her. This scene breaks me every time. Such an amazing couple and now Meredith has dereks babies and not derek 💔

I know this comment is 3 years old but i just wanna say, I feel the same way. The way he looks at her, my heart melts every time. To me, this series ends at s10 or actually even before that. Merder move away to Boston together and live happily ever after. They live for 110 years, they grow old and senile together and they're still taking care of each other.

What's sad is this was the best scene out of that whole musical episode and it didn't involve any singing.

This is so relatable for people that want a baby and try and try and nothing works, suddenly everyone around is expecting and is so hard to understand why? Why so easy for some and so difficult for others? Nobody tells you how difficult can it be for some couples to get pregnant and how common miscarriages are 😢.

It really makes no sense how easily Meredith got pregnant with Ellis. It took them two and a half seasons to get pregnant with Bailey, and she was able to get pregnant after only like a week when Derek was home before he died. It's like they forgot that entire plot line when she got pregnant the second time.

ASpring Actually no the didn't forget Some times miracles just happen or they were still taking the shots but they just didn't want to say it on the show Look their are multiple reasons why she got pregnant with Ellis Also the reason why they put in Ellis is becuz Derek had wanted another baby but Meredith didn't find out she was pregnant till the day Derek died Cause Shonda is so creative she did that and it made us cry.

They had been having unprotected sex for years. They didn’t just try once and it happened. Also, she almost died giving birth to Ellis so it wasn’t unrealistic.

They love each other so much that i feel the universe is screwed up for me😭

I’ve seen this way too many times that it’s unhealthy. Now Meredith has 3 kids and Derek isn’t here... it took so long for her to get pregnant with Bailey but got pregnant literally the first time they were trying for Ellis and then Derek died. She didn’t get to tell him😭 WHERE IS ELLENS EMMY???

By the way this is her real life story, after she got her first born in Season 6 after that she kept trying but ends up having a Miscarriage multiple times the Dr advised her she has to think of her health that's why at the end her and her husband decided to have a surrogate and had two more kids a girl and a boy now she has three.
