I am interested in seeing the performance when you add 2 more adults onboard.

This test is invalid as motor height is extremely wrong, I don't even know how mercury allowed you to do this haha

Great video. Cheers! Unfortunately, these higher-end electric motors are not very cost effective or practical for us average boaters. Nowhere near. I have an ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus that I use as a kicker/trolling motor on a 16' Lund, but my main motor is a Honda 20HP that gets the boat up on plane immediately, can cruise nicely at 15-18 mph, and just sips gas. I doubt that the motor featured here could approach that kind of performance with this boat, and the purchase price with power start and tilt comes in at just under $4000 (US).

Yeah, I appreciated your assessment. Just thought I'd add some of my own real-world experience with electrics vs petrol... @@FishingMonthly

In the interest of conserving space can you run the 35e and 20e without the junction box and plug the external battery directly into the motor?

I think only the 20e

I think that portable solar won’t put a dent in the requirements for daily use.

So in Norway it's 15000$ USD... For a 9,9 electric motor.... Unsure if that includes one or two batteries

Is that a plastic prop or metal prop? Looks cool

So your outboard isn’t mechanical - electrical? These are Salt water warranted but still not in a price ballpark for everyday applications.

No one has done a side by side with a gasser. 35e is 4.9hp at prop at what rpm? A 9.9 running 5500rpm with 2:1 gear box will turn prop at 2500rpm and will plane a lot of small boats. This boat was not on plane
