Definitively the nicest limousine ever been made. What is a rolling living-room called Rolls-Royce against this timeless elegance.

So beautiful, classy, stylish and well designed car, maybe one of best ever from Merc sedans. I own 3 of them an make my best 450K km. Shame for MB, and other car manufacturers that is no such kind of machinery any more. Sadly, money is only reason why this beauty is out of my hand last 10 years. Thanks for this nice video, and take care of this beauty and yourself.

My grandfather had one of these, almost exactly the same-same color and also a ‘71. His was the L long wheel base version. I remember the seat belts were quirky because the shoulder belt could be detached if you didn’t want to wear it. Sadly he left it parked outside for the last 10 years of his life and it rusted out, and water got inside and the wood delaminated. Glad yours is still in such great shape! Such beautiful cars.

+李德胜 old cars need more care because they have had a lot of years more to rust. I always control my undercoating everywhere where there is no paint. (underside, around the wheels, etc) Oil has gotten better over the years so no need to change every 2000 kilometres. Test if the shock absorbers are okay by pushing the car down then see how long it still wobbles. Should be immediately. Good shock absorbers are very important. greets

The 3.5 and 4.5 v8's honestly their mpg is abysmal like 13 city

Very nice Mercedes, my favourite of all times. But why you drive it like a madmen? You will end up crash it or destroy its engine or gearbox....the 0 to 100 sprint hurts my mechanical heart, as the engine reach the maximum revs..ouch....treat your car more gently, its an old classic.....

is it automatic transmition ?

Als Schalter (relativ selten) wär‘s ne echt coole Kiste, denn dumm einfach nur auf‘s Gas treten ist eher was für Yankees (und Opas).
