Op internet veel voorkomend probleem: Na zelf maandenlang problemen te hebben gehad met mijn '09 W221 waarbij de accu vaak compleet leegliep en overige elektronische storingen kreeg: Check om de 2/3 maanden de afwateringspunten. Deze raken bij de W221 zeer snel verstopt waardoor er water onder de vloer kan raken en precies daar zitten een aantal stekkers. Daarbij is bij mij kortsluiting ontstaan met dus een leeglopende accu en andere storingen tot gevolg. Na het water te hebben verwijderd + de de vloer schoon te hebben gemaakt functioneert alles weer. LET DUS GOED OP ;)

Watch out for problems with the balance shaft with W221 untill 2009. Very expensive repair.

Can you please do a buyers guide for BMW e39? I'm sure a lot of people are interested in this model as it's still a very nice car and you can find them very cheap.
