Mercedes won unexpectedly in Spielberg, with George Russell capitalising on a clash and contact between Lando Norris and Max Verstappen. Although the squad lead by Toto Wolff lacked the sheer pace to win in Austria, the victory gives them confidence. But that's not all, as big upgrades are expected to come at Silverstone, which will propel the squad even further up the grid.

Its a real shame they are changing the regulations in 2026, next year could actually be a really interesting season... in 2026 we will likely see a new contender as RedBull are unlikely to come out on top due to the engine changes and the fact RB could not get a competative engine so are building their own but with no experience.. I hope next year is a close season and I really hope in 2026 we don't end up with another dominant team like we have seen the last few years..

Dude. You are completely lost. RedBull bought out Honda, and hired about 100 of Their Engineers to build the new power units. If anything, Hondas newly formed Team to build Their new Power Units will leave Aston Martin hung out. RedBulls New powertrains are essentially al of the same people that developed the power units they are using now. Peter Windsor has reported the the new powertrains are not lacking ANYTHING.

@@stephensegal5187 The engines will be completely different, the power will be split 50/50 between internal combustion and electric. Yes they bought out the arm of honda, but look at the others, Ferrari with their SF90, they know how to combine combustion and electric, Mercedes has the AMG one or AMG GT63.. other manufacturers also have experience.. Buying Honda is like buying a bakery and then turning it into a car dealership. The engin will be so different. Hopefully whoever comes out on top it will be close and we can actually get some good racing.. Which is why I don't want it to be RedBull because even with the best car Perez will be slow and if its close Crastappen will ruin the close racing..

Yeah ok buddy, I’ll just sit on garbage of depression if Merc get another championship. Not that I don’t want them to, I do want another Merc comeback. It’s just that Ferrari is dry as heck with no end to the suffering, I mean come on I need this
