Lay a protective blanket sheet moving van sheet to protect interior from parts falling. Always use two hands. Don’t do it yourself these videos are mainly for pros that know what they’re doing with experience in car audio installs. Mainly to just figure out how to install if metra sheet is a bust…… Good video definitely have some different techniques but thanks for this video brutha!

This was a customers car I so not own this car.

My screen is going in and out and it seems to be a wiring issue. should i replace the unit? can i change the wires?

@@Enfig thanks to your video, this was one of the easiest jobs I've done! Much appreciation for your time and video. It didn't have to be coded, but I have a question for you about the unit you removed. You said they had it repaired; was that costly? And what was wrong with it, if you recall? The new one works, but is the single cd unit and the backup camera doesn't come on anymore. Thanks again for a great vid!

We do not repair radios. I would check with a local repair shop.

We have that part but currently its only for sale installed. We never sell anything online unless we have installed enough of them to provide the proper tech support.

It can bethe screen radio or wiring. Also could be power.

Hi sr. i have glk 350 mercedes benz 2011, the power supply is 12v in the new cam, but the damage camara the power is 6 volt. how I correct that.

You need a new power supply.

QUESTION: 2012 GLK350 4MATIC I want to upgrade the screen to a touch screen with APPLE CarPlay. Do you have any recommendations for what and where to buy the upgraded screen? Unfortunately we probably have everything in stock but this is the only GLK we have worked on. We tried parts and they worked but we assumed this video would bring us more GLK's but unfortunately it hasn't

I have a 2011 450 gl. My screen is starting to go black in spots. Is there a replacement for just the screen. How much would that cost?

My glk 350 2010 keeps getting a “drive unavailable (disc drive)” on the screen and I can’t get it to disappear can you help me figure out how to get the message to disappear for good? I’ve looked on lots of forums but no luck

The customer ended up repairing this unit so we never installed a radio. I think we may also have a carplay unit for his radio.

I don't shoot my videos over and over until they make me look perfect. I try to leave things that's trip me up in the videos. Because if I've been doing this for 23 years and if it's tripping me up it's probably going to trip you up. I shoot most cars without practice. But you are correct I'm not an expert in this car. I've said it many times I'm my comments that this is the only one I've ever worked on. I'm good with your comment because I'm confident in my skills but I'm not sure why you would go around trying to spread negativity.
