Mercedes Fire Truck Converted into A Weekend Camper Van
What was originally a hose carrier used by firefighters in Germany is now a one of a kind weekender camper van. Kris Evered was searching on Craigslist and came across a 1983 Mercedes 310 Feuerwehr Ziegler van that someone bought at a state auction and was re-selling them in Oregon.
With the help from some his dad and friends he converted the back into a dinette setup using a piano hinge that has two benches folding into a big bed. What was first an impulse buy has turned into one of his favorite things he owns and spends his time in.
