Just had a Stage 1 remap done on my E320 CDi OM642. The power was boosted from 224 to 294bhp. It was a quick car before but now it's seriously quick.

im thinking i shoud get stage 1 done on my 2008 320cdi, have u had any problems with it 1month later? and do u have the 7g tronic transmission

How? Because you need to have a different turbo to gain such power

​@rbrood267 wrong.. An ecu tune on turbo cars raise the boost level while adjusting spark,timing etc. That's why boosted cars gain way more power with a tune then N/A especially Diesel where everything is tuned for emissions

I have a Bluespark pro boost box fitted to my E320 CDI OM648. The difference is night and day. The car does 0-60mph in 6.0 second and has no faults or limp mode with the tuning box fitted.

Never heard of them before😅 How much did you pay for the Box? Is the installation as easy as with the Carlsson Box?😃

@@DignitasCars easy fit. The box connects to the map sensor on the inlet manifold and another connection goes to the fuel rail pressure sensor. So it can adjust fuel and boost. I'm surprised yours didn't work as with the Bluespark box the power increase is very very noticeable.

@@DignitasCars I don’t have stats but it is primarily sold to help with fuel consumption 😎 ( which is improved ) of course what it really does is increase the BHP & Torque settings as well as overrides the the speed limiter ( set at 155mph !! ) so she will go as fast as you can hold your nerve !! It’s on a 2007.E320 CDI Sport ( just before the Bluetech shit !! ) I’ve had it from new & put the Brabus on after a year so she’s been running since 2008. The performance is unreal !! with the S button on and Sport 2 on the suspension setting this baby Flies the 7 speed Triptonic launch’s the car mega but for top burn I use the paddle shifts. This is a super car it runs off the speedo and is a dream to drive 😍😍 fuel on a run is up to 45 MPG ( you’ll have to convert it ) I will Never part with this car !! How they sell for so Little Money Amazes me ❤️ Aust Weidersien 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

@@daveboon5992 You car does not have a speed limiter , top speed by manufacturer is 144mph. Mine with same engine (224PS) went 165mph with stock setup.

@@michaljankowski765 Limited at 155mph ECU overclocked by Brabus now goes as fast as you can handle ( never tried run out of road ) 😎

Ich nutze die Carlsson CD22 für meinen w211 E220CDi. Die Mehrleistung habe ich zwar nicht per Prüfstand gemessen, aber sie ist Merklich vorhanden :-)) ...bist Du sicher das dein Wagen beim Test eine Ausreichend hohe Öltemperatur hatte? Die schaltet nämlich erst bei 90 Grad oder so hinzu

Ja bin vor Einbau knapp 50 km gefahren. Der Einbau ist innerhalb weniger Minuten erledigt gewesen. Die Leistung wird ab 60°C Wassertemperatur freigegeben. Das Fahrzeug hatte zu dem Zeitpunkt sowohl Öl als auch Wasser über 80°C 😀 Aber schön zu hören, dass sie bei dir funktioniert. Hat sich an der Höchstgeschwindigkeit was bei dir seit der Box verändert?😃

@@DignitasCars Na dann ist das Teil vielleicht doch im Eimer😃 Der Motor soll ja nun 480NM statt 400NM haben bei mir. Im Durchzug merke ich es deutlich und mit dem Teil rennt der Wagen etwa 240 statt vorher etwa 230 laut Tacho

Pretty weird in the mercedes world diesels there is no much tuning to do. In the VAG group every tuner knows the platform and is easy to stage 3 the cars

Usually, the cdi engines can be easily tuned for more power, torque and fuel economy. It is just that those boxes, don't really know the life of your engine, transmission. While the mapper doesn't either, he can try & adjust

Well i dont know why but my w220 320 cdi stock goes 250 Kmh topspeed

@@tunedom6488 I think the Box is broken in some way. Normally I would expected the Car to be 3-5 Seconds faster if you get 40 HP extra.

@@DignitasCars as i know on 300 hp this cars are going 100-200 in 19-20 sec. so 245 hp should be around 24-25

don't expect to do a lot of performance if you don't replace all the filters in the first place, also the road is slippery so you don't have that much traction

The car did not had any traction issues. The filters are not brand new, maybe the performance would have been better😃
