Great review really appreciate info on what actual owners experience, very useful.

I don’t get why these reviewers always mention lack of boot space with convertibles - it goes with the territory. To me it’s the same as buying a sedan and mentioning its lack of off road ability as a negative

Agreed. It’s idiotic. It’s in every MINI review, too. What they should compare to is the same type of car. For example, hard top convertibles generally severely compromise trunk space compared to soft tops.

If you do have a suitcase, you’re probably going on holiday and will therefore go on the motorway. You won’t need the roof down so you can get 2 cases and 2 hand luggage in the boot.

This makes Merc special! Have you ever seen a 5 series coupe or cabrio or audi a6 cabrio or coupe?

Nice cabin, refreshing to see the screen UI integrated into the dashboard unlike the horrible 'tablet plonked on dash' -Audi style. So if Merc and even Jeep integrate their UI screens why can't Audi and BMW? Nice looking car save for the heavy rear end.

george mcray Go for a C Class and Merc are the worst for cheap tacked on screens. It looks like an after market budget tablet has been blutacked to the dash; only the E and S Class models get the nicer dash.

We had a lovely summer. I think it was a Wednesday.

Not a dash on the current S Class convertible, that is seriously the best looking convertible in production, it looks even better with it's fabric roof up too which is truly rare.

My man has got some class wearing a seamaster🔥😂

r,e lack of boot space - I think Mercedes now allow you to fold the rear seats down in this generation E-Class (unlike the previous version) so this should be an improvement?

how is the roof small it's a convertible what do u expect I think it looks pretty big

If your boot is jammed/you have an issue with your boot , can you still use the sunroof (as it seems it is a separate partition to the boot...?)

Great review, James. Not my kind of vehicle, but it's pretty and the perceived quality looks good.

"Thrown around corners" wtf, this is UK roads were talking about here and in urban sub-urban areas this is just not a sensible thing to do. Why do all of these reviewers want the cars setup for a race track and loads of "feedback"? Most of us just want the car to look good and stop and go whilst not costing a second mortgage to run,there's never any mention of running costs in these reviews, damn poor show.

now if only lexus have some four seater cabriolet...
